Purchased on a whim due to needing some good supportive shoes for work since I'm on my feet all day. Price was very competitive at $27 (old stock). Standard size sent was 10D. Width was perfect. Toe box was good no toes squished and the shoes did loosen up a bit being that they're leather. Shoe supported the heel and stood in place (no slipping). Since they are my daily drivers I think I may need to replace in a few months due to the heel starting to lose a little support. It was totally worth the money spent. Thus 4 stars.

My shoes fit great. They are a bit stiff to walk in, but that's to be expected at first and that doesn't impact their comfort. Most important to me is width... I need XW/EEE shoes, and these shoes deliver. I replaced the insoles with Dr. Scholl's Work Massaging Gel Advanced Insoles - but I always do that. Like the title says, GOOD deal... not great, but I'm satisfied. If I could give them a 4.3 or 4.4, I would.

I should have gotten the wide toed shoes, I did not expect them to be so tight but thats my mistake for not knowing my measurements lol, I definitely get blisters on my little toes and the back of my heel, the heels of these shoes are pretty rough and if you are crouching up and down or running around they will rub the hell out of your heels giving you blisters (again this could be my fault but I have worn other shoes like these that didn't feel so hard) solid shoes but definitely not as comfortable as I'd like.

properly shipped and easy return for full refund... maybe should have kept and ran through washing maching HOT HOT water and shrunk down a bit... i thought the leather was too thin though.. the Nike seemed sturdier...
Price was right though for the NB... and prompt refund and return for trying product... i did order the 14 W NB..

Still a good shoe.. There is something off on the way it fells from the old one. I am a great fan of this shoe. Got one in black and one in white. Same make and model for 12 years and I seek them out when new ones are needed. There feels to be less padding in the heel. You can feel it after awhile. The old ones were like standing on a soft yet firm bath mat. I will still seek them out in the coming years. It's still a good shoe not a great shoe.

I guess these 623 V3's are a fair representation of the New Balance of 2021. Though nothing like the NB's of 10 yrs ago or so, but what is? They seem to be standard build for these days. With everything going to mesh sided light weight disposables, it's getting harder to find breathable leather trainers with a good toe cap. Yesterday's gone so this is where we are.

I have been buying this model of New Balance shoe for over 20 years now. I can comfortably order this shoe and it always is the same fit and size unlike other brands which vary inside the brand. I wear the new ones on important trips, keep the second longest for around the house, and keep three pair to work in the garden and on projects. They are wonderfully reliable shoes and I get about 5 years out of each pair!

Have bought this shoe several times over the last few years. Overall, a great product, great fit and very comfortable.
I do note that their quality control appears to be slipping a bit. One of the shoes arrived without the top eyelets on one of the shoes being punched out. I had to take the awl on my Swiss Army knife and complete the process. Would I buy again? Definitely. Gues I just got one that slipped past them.
