After two kids, I finally reached the point to step up my dad game and these did not disappoint. Immediately after putting them on I mowed my yard in half the time as these shoes are FAST as well as stylish. My grass instantly became greener, mow lines are crisper, and my yard is the best in the neighborhood. These babies are comfy and will keep you powering through those dad duties all day long. New Balance Has Become JUNK

I have been wearing New Balance for over 20 years. Up until this purchase I liked their quality shoes quite a bit. But this shoe is not even close to 11 1/2 2 E size. New Balance no longer can be relied upon for maintaining a standard size and have cheaped out. Also, the general quality of the shoe is sub standard. My advice, do not buy New Balance!

Watch out for the sole coming apart!

I have owned my newest New Balance 623s I have owned for a couple of years but only jog outside in them a couple of times a month. Recently while jogging, the entire blue sole on the 623s came unglued while I was jogging on an asphalt track. It caused me to turn my ankle and fall. So I got New Balance customer service on the phone and told them the story and asked if they'd consider replacing this pair of discounting a new pair. The answer was a firm, "not unless it happened within the first year of ownership." I cannot tolerate a product a company will not stand behind even after it is new. BE CAREFUL OF THE SOLE COMING APART. Better yet, buy some other product instead. The Chinese glue on these won't last.

I guess these 623 V3's are a fair representation of the New Balance of 2021. Though nothing like the NB's of 10 yrs ago or so, but what is? They seem to be standard build for these days. With everything going to mesh sided light weight disposables, it's getting harder to find breathable leather trainers with a good toe cap. Yesterday's gone so this is where we are.

This is a performance shoe which translates to a comfortable everyday walking shoe. The herringbone tread and outsole compound provides excellent traction on a wide variety of surfaces and incorporates wear bars to increase service life. An EVA insert and midsole with shock absorbing polymer - sorbothane probably- at points where balls of feet contact provides for excellent shock absorption and comfort - advertised as a cross trainer but would make excellent court shoe. Stability shank in sole and Achilles protector crescent with stable top sole round out well made shoe. Saw a comment that this was shades of the 90s. Yes, when Nike New Balance, Reebok and others Made products that performed not some sequined fashion statement.

Low Quality Adhesive

I’ve been buying New Balance for over a decade. They are normally more expensive. Over the years the quality has gone down and I’m really upset over this particular version. It's always annoying that the model changes, but this one wore out particularly quickly. It arrived in beautiful condition but immediately discolored within a week with blue around the top of the shoe, as if discolored by my jeans (which didn't happen to any previous pair). The glue/adhesive also wore out after 5 months during the COVID-19 pandemic when I wasn’t using them nearly as much (due to quarantine). Normally I’d expect them to last about 12 months. These lasted 5 months, rarely used. I feel robbed of the other 7 months.
