This is the first time I have looked for wide fit trainers as I never knew they made them. The last pair of trainers I bought were Nike Airforce one's for over a hundred pounds and if I wear them for as long as an hour they start to really hurt as realistically, they are not wide enough for my feet. Wanting to stay in fashion over the years, I have always suffered with trainers that were not wide enough. These new balance wide fit trainers might not be the 'must have fashion statement' but they are well made, look good and for the first time in my adult life, are an amazingly comfortable trainer to wear. I'm so glad I bought them.

I buy NB shoes for their arch support as I have problems with planter fasciitis. These trainers had next to no arch support and instead have a higher heal than normal compared to the rest of the sole. It makes you feel like you’re constantly ready to move forward. They are not so bad that I feel I should return them, but they are definitely not for every day wear. I will only be using them for low activity casual wear as they do look good.

I have plantar fasciitis which is so painful but I have a job where I'm on my feet all day. These trainers are fab. I've worn them for 7 hours non stop & my feet aren't aching at all. I also suffer with shin splints and having footwear that helps provide comfort for my feet, has actually helped with this too. I have to get a men's size as my feet swell a lot but as said, these are so comfortable & have served their purpose. I would recommend for anyone with problem feet

My husband has bought these trainers for years having owned several pairs. He has arthritic feet and these are the only ones that give him the comfort and support he needs in this wide fit. He had one more new pair in the wardrobe, but was pleased with another new pair for his birthday as does not wish to be without. Very durable and of excellent quality - and nice to be in 'all black'.

Good, comfortable trainers. These are soft enough on the foot when wearing to be comfortable for long periods of time and the 4e fitting is pretty much spot on, although I also have a very high instep, so these are wide enough but could do with longer laces. I’ve had a few of this model now and they don’t last very long. Some fail because of a vertical split appearing beside the little toe, some because glue on the sole fails; but they are reasonable for the money.

Very happy with these. Have had some trouble with getting a comfortable fit with shoes and trainers recently, think my feet have spread a bit with age and now an 11 is too tight but a 12 slightly loose, so being able to get a 11.5 wide-fit is perfect for me and surprisingly unusual to find even on Amazon. The style and colour (all black) are neutral so these can pass for a range of uses without looking out of place and the price is quite reasonable. They seem well-made, although only time will tell if they hold up

I have worn nothing but New balance since buying a pair in America a dozen years or more years ago and, though not cheap,, they have never disappointed. Napoleon is supposed to have said an army marches on it's stomach, you can go a long way hungry but not far with bad feet, hooray for New Balance.
