Good look, feel, and performance

These hang and feel great, and have a little stretch to them – making them very comfortable to wear.
They may need to be ironed after the dryer. I don't use or care for fabric softeners or dryer sheets, because they produce toxic dryer exhaust and they coat one's clothes with a pungent overpowering perfumey smell. Instead of dryer sheets, I try to put less items in my dryer with these pants and then dry them on high for only 20 minutes and then hang them slightly damp. If you do use softeners, then wrinkling may not be an issue for you.

These fit nicely, are well constructed and look like they should last.... from the son of a master tailor. At some point in life, jeans start to fall down at the waist due to the heavy weight of the fabric and our bodies taking on a new, more rounded form (unfortunately). These deck pants have replaced all my denims in my closet. They are very comfortable and lightweight. And, most importantly, they don't fall to my abdomen or crotch which used to be extremely annoying.

Manufacturing Inconsistent

I really want to like these pants. I bought 4 pairs of these in different colors. Three of them fit perfectly. The last pair I bought was too tight. They were all the same size 40x32. I noticed on the tag inside that 3 of the pairs were made in Pakistan and one pair was made in Bangladesh. There is an inconsistentsy with the manufacturing process. I will be hesitant in pulling the trigger on these again.

I used to buy Nautica expecting a quality product. These are really cheaply made. They are made of a special wrinkly material which attracts lint, dust, and animal hair which after an hour or so makes it look like you have been living in them for days. And they shrink!
