Like most North Face jackets
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 January 2018
Like most North Face jackets, it's well made, comfortable and pretty good at keeping the rain at bay. It can even at a pinch have a down jacket in place of the thermoball jacket but that does make the jacket not fit as well.
I have only used the jacket in temperatures around 0 degrees, but it has been warm without being stuffy and has successfully repelled wind and rain.
A downside is the front pockets are not lined, meaning you have to wear the jacket with gloves, and even then the front pockets are not particularly good for keeping your hands warm and cosy.
Also, the thermoball jacket inside is not to the same finish as the standard range, and doesn't look as good as a normal jacket when separated from the rainproof outer jacket.
