Good for Muddy Walks

Had these boots for a few months now - In terms of size - I have a wide foot fitting so always go up a size and then use gel inserts - which works fine for me. I am an owner of previous Muck Boots so think they are good for wide feet. The soles of the boots are quite thick, so you don't feel any stones though the soles on rocky ground. In terms of grip I have used them in muddy and icy conditions and find they have gripped well. They are short ankle boots and so your trousers easily come out, if you normally tuck them in. Excellent for muddly woodland walks, gardening and walking through small pools of water. If you are looking for boots to deal with real thick muddy conditions, you will need to move up to the "Scrub" or "Chore Versions" IMHO

Sturdy but not without fault

I purchased the boots as I wanted slip-ons that would be easy to get on and to potter around in the garden with. Boots are easy to get on and are very well made but Issue is they are not tight fitting around the ankle in fact are VERY loose which means a lot of general garden material finds it way very easily into the boots..dirt being the most frustrating...may as well go back to using my crocs as they are easier to eject the unwelcome garden materials taken up residence in them !

Best boots I've ever bought

These boots are amazing, I walk a lot in all weather conditions due to my job. I've had Berghaus, karrimor, regatta, Hi-tec and a few other well known brands and they have all fallen apart and leaked within a couple months. Every single one. These however, 6 months down the line and they havnt even shown a sign of damage, they're pretty comfy and warm. I'd recommend getting a size smaller, as I'm usually a size 9, but someone who already had a pair recommended me to do so, and a size 8 fits me perfectly even with big thick socks.

My foot seems to be the in between size of 40-42. 40 is not comfortable and 42 just a bit on the large side. When I buy my shoes I get a 41 which you do not do! However I like my boots and as they are for working in the garden or around the house. I am very happy with them.
I would not like to go walking any distance with them as they are a bit loose on my feet and there lies the problem 40 too small 42 too big, I also don't want to wear fishermens socks to make up the difference. I go into the garden shed take off my shoes and slip into my boots.
If other manufacturers can produce half sizes then why can't you?
I do like your produce as I have a pair of tack boots as well and they are a 42 so I am well aware of the loose fit problem for me.
