Is this objectively a good film? Probably not. But it's the most delightfully unhinged, energetic performance from Nicolas Cage in years!

It's a comedy horror starring Cage and some other people I've never heard of. The plot concerns a mysterious unseen force that causes parents to murder their children, but all you really need to know is that there's a scene where Nicolas Cage smashes things with a sledgehammer whilst singing the Hokey Cokey.

Nicholas Cage doing what he does best!

This film was perfect for Cage, he was able to bring his unique brand of comedic insanity and violence throughout the entire film! The scene where he smashes up the pool table with a sledgehammer while singing the hokey pokey was inspired!

This was an awful film, Im really surprised Nicolas Cage put his name to this to be honest. Plot was disturbing and I totally disengaged after the baby was born, just sick!

Not great, fine as mindless drivel

Can’t say I enjoyed this very much. Interesting and disturbing premise but it was badly executed. We don’t really know why this happens or the thought process behind the parents actions. The long speech by Cage was cringey and overdone. Lots of drawn out violence for violence sake. The plot was disjointed and lacked pace. Things were included that didnt advance the story. I had disengaged by the end of it.

Wow what a surprise

What surprise, a really messed up idea for a film like something out a Stephen King novel. Parents go crazy and kill their children. Really sick at times and I loved it. Nic Cage also back to his most craziest. Biggest surprise of 2018 so far

Finally got round to watching this and I was really excited because the premise sounded pretty good, but the execution was poor, I didn’t like it, the thing that sort of saved it was the good acting, however it did leave me with more questions then answers 🙄
My rating ⭐️⭐️

Awful from start to finish

I love a bad Nicholas Cage film but this wasn't enjoyable at all. The only moments that I even remotely enjoyed were the ones where nick was screaming uncontrollably
