The tactical boots have an insole made of very high quality, superlatively insulated EVA foam, which keeps the foot dry and warm whilst providing a high level of wearer comfort. The high-quality zip by YKK or alternatively the Speed Lace fastening enable you to take them on and off quickly. The toe cap protects your toes from falling objects. Perfect for hiking and trekking tours, but also suitable as work shoes.

They have zips along the inside, which makes them very easy to put on and take off. The tongue is stitched in (I have never had wet feet) and when laced up, your feet (and ankles) feel nicely warm and protected. They also have a nice tread on the soles, which gives good extra grip on icy or slippery patches. I also found them very comfortable to wear, once softened up a bit through wearing a few times.
I tend to look after them by, every so often, giving them a wipe down with a damp rag, a good dose of black polish and also applying dubbin around the toe caps.
A year on, they are as good as new, in terms of performance.
Given you can easily pay two or three times this amount for boots (and for my sins, in the past, I have), I think these are a bit of a bargain.
I even went so far as to get a second pair to use when these ones eventually wear out. I bought them now rather than waiting because, as seems the case with pretty much everything else I like, they’ll probably soon stop making them!)
Very comfortable but they started to squeak last week and now they've becoming to loud to wear at work.
Dried them, powdered them, lubricated them, roughed up the sole, silicone sprayed them (inside and out), used various different insoles, polished them but nothing helps.
May just be my pair but concrete, lino or carpet squeak........squeak.......squeak........squeak
Outer sole is thin, soft and hollow and is easily pierced. A comfortable boot but only good enough for very light use.
First review: I love these. Are they as good as my Lowa Recon? No! The soles are rubber as opposed to Vibram, and the ankle collars are not as comfy. Also, the Lowas have better lacing systems (In my opinion)...However, these do have the amazing side zips (which are incredibly robust and practical), and are a quarter of the price of my Lowa GTX recons. So, I could buy four pairs instead!! These Miltec look the business and this type of leather appears to be quite durable and smart. I was torn between 4.5 and 5 out of five, but, for the price, they have to get full marks. Worn them for a month so far and find that they fit perfectly with my normal socks and my seal skin waterproofs at the same time. Ideal

These looked like they should do the job quite nicely and ought to last me a long while before they needed replacing (I bought these for the winter when the snow/ice comes).
However, these boots are showing signs of damage already. This is my second pair (the first pair had a hole down the side after a few weeks of wear), they're showing damage of the toe cap and the sole of the boot is separating.
I am not impressed by the quality of these boots, but for £40.00, there are certainly worse ways to go.
Few months now after wearing this boots I discovered that they very slippery when ground is wet. Specially smooth surface. I came to conclusion, good looking boots, but not really practical. I'll continue wear them, but in the future will get other boots.
