Love merrell barefoot shoes and have wore them for year. These newer models are brilliant and I cannot recommend them enough. Some how lighter than the before. Perfect barefoot shoe. Buy buy buy.

Shoes don’t match

The shoes arrived very quickly and are a great first barefoot show for me. However, the shoes don’t really match each other. They are slightly different colours, the rubber toe guards are different sizes and the rubber protector on the sides are different. Only minor differences and I’m going to keep them as they’re walking shoes not dress shoes but the lack of consistency is disappointing. Otherwise, a very good pair of shoes, just beware if a pack of consistency bothers you (I think others have reported the same).

Received these in July, the sole has now gone in September, 2 MONTHS of use for £75 is simply unacceptable.
Everything else about these shoes is fantastic a true barefoot experience with great fit, comfort and style but expensive for how long you get to enjoy them for. SHAME!!!

Inconsistent sizing

I have the black ones that fit great, in size 11. I previously ordered the 11.5 which were too big. I ordered the blue ones in size 11 which are too tight, even after I broke them in.

I was going to buy another 3 or 4 pairs of these but don't feel confident in sizing. I recon I'll check out other brands. Shame as these look great.

Hole in heels after 9 weeks

I do about 15,000 steps per day, about 9,000 of them on pavement. After just 9 weeks there are holes in both heels !!

Shoes of this price usually last me 2 years.

I hope this is a defective item because in fairness, the shoe is very comfortable. The problem is that the sole started to unglue in less than 2 weeks of using this shoe. I have contacted the brand and even though they said they would get in touch in 2 days, there has been no answer in longer than that. Hopefully they do get back and honour their warranty and I would then give these shoes a much better rating.

The right shoe was noticeably smaller than the left. Even though the size was marked as ordered it was clearly a factory error. I would estimate a half size smaller. An absolute basic requirement in making of footwear you make them to match. Very unsatisfied.

Ich habe diese Schuhe als Einstiegsbarfussschuh für meinen Mann in der Größe 47 gekauft - zum Glück hat er schmale Füße! Die 47er haben eine ISL von 29,5 cm (29,8 cm mit Druck) und eine Breite von 10,5 cm. Die Farbe des Schuhs ist viel mehr ins grünliche (kaki) gehend als auf den Fotos, leider kommt das blaugrau nicht so rüber, wie auf den Fotos - aber mein Mann ist nicht so heikel, also auch das ist OK. Leider hat der Schuh einen Klebepatzer (letztes Foto) - da muss wohl der Kleber getropft haben - mir stört sowas sehr - aber mein Mann, naja, ihm ist es egal :) Die Lieferung erfolgt schnell (So, 11.8.2019 bestellt, Mi, 14.8.2019 geliefert) - inzwischen gibt es sie teilweise um 69,- auch schon - also wie gesagt, Preis ist super, aber der Klebetropfen gibt für mich 2 Sterne Abzug :)

Habe das Modell wie man sieht in bereits einer anderen Farbe... Super Schuhe nehme sie zum Training. Wollte jetzt so noch ein paar aber in schwarz sind sie leider schmälern geschnitten.. Was bei minimalschuhe/barfussschuhe ja nicht so zielführend ist deswegen gehen sie retour.... Schade.. Sollten schon die selben Schnitte sein wurscht welche farbe

Der Schuh ist gut verarbeitet und gefällt mir sehr gut. Leider ist er für einen Barfußschuh deutlich zu schmal bemessen und das macht alle Vorteile wet. Es werden die Zehen bei mir stark nach innen gebogen trotz 1,5cm Spielraum in der Länge. Bei Größe 45 und einer Innensohlen Länge von 29cm ist er nur 9,5cm breit. Im Vergleich dazu sind die Altra Superior 4 mit über 11cm Breite ein Traum. Siehe Fotos. Da kann Merrel noch was, lernen.
