Not waterproof!

I walk my dog 5-6 miles a day and waterproof, comfortable and good wearing shoes are a must! I’ve only been wearing these shoes for 2 weeks and the 1st rain I’m out in (and it wasn’t a downpour!) and the right foot, toe area, gets wet! The last shoes I tried were Keen and at least they made it 8 weeks and 4-5 rainy walks before the soles decided to separate! This is very disappointing and the worst shoes so far! I’ve been wearing Vasque Tulus which stay dry for 12-16 weeks consistently but are lately unavailable resulting in me shopping around for an alternative shoe.
Also, I normally wear a 10 1/2 shoe but had to send the first pair back as they were tight and ordered wides as they’re too narrow compared to other brands.
They are nice looking shoes but unfortunately, don’t expect them to keep your feet dry out of the box!

Wish There Was More Arch Support

I was hoping there would be more arch support. I wore Merrell Intercepts for years but at last, they're discontinued. I turned to these shoes remembering a pair of all leather Merrells that were made in Italy that served me so well decades ago. Otherwise, these Merrells did well this past New York City winter. The shoe is well-made. Maybe a post-Covid trip to a shoe store is the route for me now.

The fit of these shoes is off. They’re smaller than any other 10.5 shoe I’ve worn by a toe-numbing amount. My wife just bought me a pair of Itasca Westport shoes (4546437), size 10.5, and the sigh of relief I let out when I took the Merril’s off and put the Itasca’s on had her looking at me with concern.

Also, I have a narrow foot and these Merril’s are pretty wide. There was no shifting of my foot side to side, but the fit was definitely off on more than just length.

This is my 4th pair.. the others have always been work horses. I love this show, but for some reason the toe box on these is way more narrow. My toes hurt, feel cramped, and I can’t wait to take them off when I get home. They still look great! But don’t feel great, and if your hiking, comfort is king.

The ordering, delivery, and size are all fine. My issue is the right shoe. The left shoe fits fine and after a couple of walks is broken in and fits great. The right shoe has a plastic piece in the heal that is very stiff and catches on my heal, giving me blisters. I figured it would get better after it breaks in. No such luck. I'm trying everything I know to fix the problem but if I can't, it's going to be a $100.00 dog toy.

This is a comfortable and grippy shoe. Does well in shallow snow and the waterproofing keeps feet dry and warm. I haven't worn these in the summer yet but suspect they may be too hot. They seem to run slightly small compared to other shoes. My left foot is a perfect fit but the right is not crammed but snug, which makes steep downhill walking slightly uncomfortable. I still wear them regularly, so it's not unbearable. I would order 2 sizes next time if there are free returns.

After 4 months the shoe does fit well and seems to be holding up ok. I work outside and the dirt gets under the mesh lining and settles under your ties making it very uncomfortable to wear. No materr how much you tap or vacuum the dirt you still can't get it out. I guess I will try to cut the lining and see if I can get it out that way

These shoes are fine, but they are no more waterproof than any other pair of shoes. From the first day I walked through three feet of wet grass (about a foot tall) and my socks were wet--by the end of the walk-- soaked. Don't pay extra for water proofing which is not there.

I liked the moab 2 in black that I received 3 days ago I went ahead and ordered it in granite
the material on the inside of the black is one piece all black and very comfortable!!
the granite one on the inside has 2 pieces??
bottom half is black the top half is gray with a seam in the middle that runs all the way around the inside which i can feel wearing thick athletic socks making it very uncomfortable
they should have left the inside all one color either black or gray??????

The shoe is waterproof which is the main point. After wearing them 4-5 times they seem to be getting smaller and less comfortable. I’m not a fan of the really thick sole. I suggest getting them a half size larger than you would other shoe brands. Then if they don’t fit, return them.
