I guess these are men shoes, but they don't sell this shoe as waterproof for women. So as a women I bought them anyway. Very comfortable, wide shoe. Usually I drop my shoe size by 2 if I'm wearing men's shoes, but in this case only by 1. (I wear a 9 womens and these are an 8). So maybe they run small. Very comfortable, great grip Just had these on a bunch of long hikes after never wearing them, no blisters. Highly recommend and most all merells for that matter. Both my regular sneakers and snow boots are merrell as well

I am not a fan of buying shoes on line, I like to try any shoe on first. This purchase, however, has swayed me. They fit great, feel great, and are pleasantly warm. It's -10 degrees (f) today and my feet did not get cold while walking a short distance as I thought they might. As everything here is frozen I can verify the waterproof designation. Am very fond of the Vibram soles on the shoe which give good traction on snow and ice. Looking forward to spring and summer wear. Very NICE shoes and I will certainly purchase again!

I should take a 10 1/2 but I have always added a half inch which makes the shoe fit perfect. I ordered an 11 size & got a perfect fit. These shoes a very well made with no flaws. I hope they last as long as the others which was 8 years. I wore the others down past the heal. Having these on your feet is like having your feet wrapped in pillows. They are that comfortable. Memory foam inserts are a perfect fit also.

So far, I am very impressed with the Moab 2. A few years back, I purchased the original Moab Vent and didn't really like them. The Moab 2 is a quality shoe. To me, it feels like a major upgrade from the Moab. I am very pleased and expect to get a lot of use from the new shoes. Good job to Merrell.

This pair will eventually replace a 7 year of pair of Moabs that still have some life but starting to look old. I find it difficult to find shoes that are comfortable so rather than searching around I just went with experience. Disclaimer....I use these for daily use, not hiking.

Good waterproofing for mildly messy trail

9.5 fits wide compared to 9.5 Nike running shoe. Having said that, after a sunny 9 mile snow hike, I appreciated the extra space and waterproofing. I could do higher tops too if there was more snow, but I’m not into high/mid boots.

Basically, these are slightly sturdier, thicker and much more waterproof than running shoes. I wouldn't run in them. Hiking only. Felt weirdly wide (9.5 normal) on cement, but felt good on the trail itself. I’ll keep em.

I could use a way to keep the laces tied better.

I have ordered these shoes multiple times, and always get them quickly with no problems in fit, size, or preference. My wife works in a busy veterinary surgical practice, doing underwater treadmill physical therapy for post-surgical animals, so she goes through these shoes quickly. Not knocking the quality AT ALL, she wears them 50+ hours a week, wrangling animals who might be in different stages of paralysis, and weighing up to 200 lbs. She's around water all day, and they are waterproof, protecting her feet. She has had back surgery (not from her job, from playing Rugby) and needs supportive shoes to help her avoid further back issues. After trying different brands and styles over the years, she started wearing these 4 years ago, and has went through 6 pairs; they offer the best fit, comfort, and value. Some of the other Drs in her office also started wearing these same shoes, as does her neurosurgeon. Being so busy, it's hard to take the time to fight traffic in Atlanta to go buy a pair, when I can easily order them from Amazon, and they show up at our front door in a few days!

This is the second pair I've purchased(slightly different colors) The first pair are still functional but I wanted another pair before the rainy season and to have some that don't show so much wear. The only thing that has gone wrong with the first pair is I pulled too hard on the back loop of one and broke it and they aren't as waterproof as they were originally..good shoes

This is honestly one of the best shoes I've ever had. I had another pair of Merrells that I bought about 7 years ago which are still holding up. These are a lower cut, so easier to use for day to day. I've been enjoying the water proof and warmth while walking the dog this winter. Great traction on ice and snow, and wet grass hills. Definitely looking forward to using these this summer in the mountains.

This is my second pair of these shoes. I usually wear out the soles before I run into problems with upper part of the shoe. I love these waterproof shoes. I'm an amateur photographer and usually out early in the morning when there is a lot of dew on the ground. I'm usually putting on 5 to 10 miles a day on these shoes and they last me about a year before the bottoms are wore out. During the winter I wear another Merrell high top boot.
