At the beginning I thought it had potential for a good storyline but as the film went on it just went downhill. Not scary at all, in fact my 10 year old ended up watching it with me and at no point did i have to tell her to look away or she got spooked. I’m gutted I spent £3.50 on renting it. It could be something that could be televised but I certainly wouldn’t watch it again. A real shame but a big thumbs down.

Average, but watchable. Feels a little like an origin narrative for a new monster franchise/series, like this is the introduction to something, rather than the something itself.

Ok so this wasn't awful it did have an air of a 'made for TV' about it (I'm sure you can still see the bits where they put the ad breaks in). There are a few jumps in it. Kept us watching. Not overly scary, takes quite a bit from The Babadook (which is better).

Great potential but rubbish ending, which for me ruins the film, there isn't a lot of explanation either
