Shaving Private Ryan!!!!!😂

I've been having a bit of a Seagal marathon over the last few months. I am mostly kept happy, even with the straight to DVD/Blu-ray era, most of which are diabolical, especially of late with are pretty much unwatchable. But hey ho, I am entertained and enjoy watching crap sometimes.

Mercenary For Justice is very very average...... actually no, Im lying to myself....its F'ing terrible. It starts out as a wanna be gritty war film with Saving Private Ryan type music playing over people being shot and choppers in the air. No, not those kind of choppers, helicopters you dirty minded sod!.
.....But no matter how much sweeping music you put over the scenes, it won't make it any bleeding good. The acting is awful, the looping is a joke with the first sentence that comes out of Seagal's mouth done by somebody not even trying to do a decent impression. It's really odd because after the first few words from Seagal, even in the same scene within seconds, he then uses his own voice from then on. Clearly the directors, the producer's and the editor are thick as **** if they thought that was acceptable.

The film has clearly been over produced and is a a bunch of crap scripts rewritten by imbeciles where nobody seems to have a clue what the others are doing. Mercenary For Justice doesn't even know what it wants to be, from a gritty realistic war film to a sexy espionage spy action thriller. It spectacularly fails on all levels. The Blu-ray even has a making of documentary with the producers and directors really believing there own BS! The director even compares Mercenary For Justice to Saving Private Ryan! The bloody cheek of it. He should be executed, chopped into chunk's and fed to a dog then poop scooped up and bunged in the bin!

Very pleased with this.

As always I got a brilliant deal from Zoverstocks. I can't believe you can sell DVD's for one penny (plus of course postage which usually costs £1.89). Still its well worth it. As with most Seagal titles, the action is predictable, but I still love the guys movies.

I respect what he's achieved over the years, I love his detachment and his martial arts skill but most of all I think hes a down to earth guy who also works as a real life cop.

I'll purchase all of his movies and the TV series.

Disjointed plot, bad acting, with Seagal it's either hit or miss , this one is a miss.
