Want to know what happens when your 2 year old presses the same button on your fire remote over and over again and you haven't set up any purchase controls yet?
You end up with Mean girls in HD.
To be fair, it wasn't as bad as I expected it to be.

How much do I love Mean Girls?
Verified purchase
The limit does not exist. This is such a funny and unique film (how many other movies are both a Halloween and a Christmas film?) that I can honstly watch any time. If you're a fan of films like Clueless I think you'd probably enjoy Mean Girls. It's such a highly quotable film..."is butter a carb?" The writing, the casting, the acting and directing are all brilliant and for me it really showcases what a versatile actress Rachel McAdams, is after seeing her in Wes Craven's Red Eye. This film also introduced me to music by Peaches, with the song Operate which features in the Halloween party scenes.

Loving the upgrade!

If you love Mean Girls and like me only had the DVD from over a decade ago, this is a much needed upgrade! To be honest though, this is all about the extras, hence the relatively low price compared to other special editions. The extras make it ad the actual burn book case is cool. BUT if you're a fan and don't need an upgrade to bluray, save this for a rainy day.

Good way to pass an hour

I have been told so many times by people that this is their favourite film and I have never seen it, so thought I would watch it. It was ok, passed the time but I thought it was a bit predictable and I have certainly seen better. I do wish I hadn't had to pay any money for it but it was cheaper than having it on dvd.

‘How do I begin to describe Regina George...’ want to finish this sentence? Watch the film 😏

Mean Girls is a smart and funny film and it even contains some elements of wisdom. The teen comedy film dissects high school society with a lot of observant detail. The screenplay by ‘Saturday Night Lives’ comic Tina Fey is both a comic and a sociological achievement. The screenplay is inspired by a novel called ‘Queen Bees and Wannabes: Helping Your Daughter Survive Cliques, Gossip, Boyfriends, and Other Realities of Adolescence’ by Rosalind Wiseman. The novels title more or less summarises the Mean Girls film 😊.

Mean Girls is a good representation off high school in a more fun way.

I love this film and remember watching it when I was back in high school now that I'm older I have a younger sister and brought it to show her to enjoy as she is in high school now and she had as much fun watching it as I did and I enjoyed rewatching it after so many years. Definitely recommend watching with siblings or friends.

Five gold stars for the gorgeous presentation box alone

Never really cared for Li Lo but Rachel McAdams is ALWAYS awesome. And whilst no where near as good as Easy A, there’s enough here to warrant a watch, or two. The main reason for this upgrade is the sheer wealth of extras. Obviously A LOT of thought has gone into the reproduction of this blu ray release. Plus you get the dvd, too. The way the discs are stored is, however, not ideal. Just your basic card holders. But the burn book case is delightful. Best part? I got this release for a lower price thanks to that white Thursday con. Blu ray runs for 97 minutes approx whilst the dvd is 93 minutes approx.

but it was fun while it lasted

As a middle aged male I'm not the target audience for this film but I am interested in the new musical version and wanted to check out the original.I am also a fan of Tina Fey's comedy. This was very entertaining and a is in fact a more recent parody of the 'Heathers' style of 1980s teenage movie. I may not watch it again, but it was fun while it lasted.
