Nice looking slipper but that elastic is too tight

I was pleased to receive these dinosaur slippers for my granddaughter as she is dinosaur mad and regularly has her small dolls riding around on the back of one!I was disappointed, however , because despite being quite a nice little slipper, they are spoiled by the elasticated back section.Whereas it is a good idea to help keep the slippers on, , the elastic in this pair was very tight to stretch and made little red marks on the backs of her ankles even though the slippers were not tight on her.I'll probably look at replacing the elastic so that she can still wear themThe actual slipper is quite cute. Made from a cheap but serviceable synthetic, they are made well, with a strong non slip rubber sole.If the elastic was softer I would buy these.
