The foot bed feels like gel and the arch support is nice. They are roomy width wise but not too wide. I feel like I could walk for miles in these. The only thing I don’t like is the shiny snake skin. I would much prefer a flat black

Comfortable sandal with great support!

I don't usually order sandals or shoes online. I decided to try this time. I measured my foot and then ordered according to the directions for ordering re size. My first pair I ordered in the black. When I tried them on I was pleasantly surprised to find they were very comfortable. I ended up wearing them all day. I need good support in my arches and these sandals do just that. So then I decided to order another paid, this time in the beige. I received those yesterday. Tried them on this morning and again will be wearing them all day. Then I decided to order another pair, which I just did in the tan. I'm sure they will fit the same and look forward to wearing them this coming Memorial Day weekend. I have a feeling I'm going to be ordering one in all colors that the company offers. There is nothing more important than comfortable shoes or sandals. I'll be 75 in a less than a month and anything I can do to make life a little more comfortable in this world, especially the way the world is now is a definite plus.

Made a big difference with my plantar fasciitis!

This slide sandal is very comfortable, and it definitively contributed in alleviating my most recent plantar fasciitis flare up. From the moment I first put them on, I could feel they were going to help. I wear them strictly at home, as much as possible, from the moment I get out of bed. Like them so much that I ordered a second pair as backup. For reference, I normally wear size 6 wide; these sandals do not offer width selections, but the size 6 fit me perfectly. Originally I had purchased the flip flop sandals of this same brand, but those felt a bit loose, causing the toes to ‘grip’ the sandal when walking; because of the two wide straps on the slide model, the fit is perfect and there is no ‘gripping’ issue. Highly recommended if you have plantar fasciitis!

Tear in the heal after only 2 months

I loved that these sandals provided better than average arch support and was actually considering buying a second pair. I'm glad I held off. Last week I noticed that my left heal was bothering me a bit and that there was a very small tear in the heal of the shoe. Within a week it is much bigger as you can see in the picture and I can no longer wear them comfortably. Very disappointed that they only lasted 2 months.

I ordered the black sandals in a size 7. I usually wear a 7 in sandals and there is plenty of room in these.
If they came in half sizes, I probably would order a 6 1/2. The other reviewers weren't kidding when they said that these shoes are comfortable! They are so soft and I like that the heel is about an inch high. I have had plantar fasciitis in the past and have learned from experience that the worst thing you can wear is flat shoes. There is a substantial arch support also. My 30 something daughter thought they were cute and so do I but, that is just a bonus because comfort is the most important thing to me. The only negative that I can find is that the strap that is closest to your ankle is loose on me but it is not a deal breaker.
Save your money and don't waste it on the orthotics that doctors will try to sell you. That way you can buy several pairs of these!

I have live with a spinal cord injury since a surgeon open my back on the wrong side and then went back in and played with the nerve roots in my spinal cord. I've had to wear Skecher sandals with 3-inch heels and the memory foam which I have to replace every two months, memory foam breaks down quickly. I ordered the sandals from you first of the summer and I have been able to walk on Flat soles that hasn't been possible for 28 years. I ordered my second pair last week so is I would not ever have them break down again. I found my answer to be able to walk further and not hurt from the concrete radiating in the bottoms of my feet. Second band is very loose, material does not look durable

Lost a star: The 2nd strap is very loose--good for people with lower extremity swelling, bad for people without swelling.

Lost a star: if you look closely, the material of the sandal body has little bubbles--as if it weren't completely smoothed out in manufacturing. Also, you can see how the straps are glued on--I don't think it's a durable material.

Gain a star: squishy material! Very spongy, and is nice for walking.

Gain a star: color is nice--looks just like the photo

Gain a star: probably does a good job at it's product description, which is to provide an orthopedic sandal. This star is really just me being optimistic--I'm returning the sandal due to the loose strap, so I won't be able to truly test this out.

Design flaw (an updated review)

I first purchased a pair of the sandals (black/snakeskin) 3 (4?) mos. ago and left a glowing review. I loved the look, fit, and most importantly the comfort of this two-strap sandal. I give it a 5-star rating in those categories but I will never buy this sandal again or recommend it because it has a design or manufacturing flaw. It occurred in that first pair as well as the second one which I purchased only last month (Nov.). The first pair I used mainly to run errands and the second only for indoors. The flaw appeared in both situations.
Imbedded in the rubber sole is a plastic or metal support frame. It appears the melted rubber was poured over the frame to bond together. After wearing the first sandals for 3 mos., a portion of the rubber heel began to wear in a slant (typical of that foot). With only 1/4" or less worn down, the frame was exposed so it meets the floor when I walk and it causes a clicking or tapping sound. It was so annoying that I purchased a 2nd pair (cork/gold) and decided I would only wear it in-house so the bottom wouldn't get scuffed so quickly. Here it is only one month later and the same thing has happened! The same corner of the rubber sole is barely worn and the imbedded frame is becoming exposed. I am again making a clicking/tapping sound like a peg-leg while walking on tile. Either the rubber is too soft and wears easily or the manufacturer has not imbedded the frame deep enough into the rubber. Be forewarned.

These shoes are super comfy and very supportive. I have plantar fasciitis and these support my feet well. I can wear them for several hours without pain. I love that they look a little cuter and more dressy than the usual support sandals.

I took off a star because the sizing is off. I have worn a size 9 in every shoe I've owned for the last 20 years. I ordered these in a 9 and they were gigantic!! I exchanged them for an 8.5 which fit well at first. Those have now stretched out so they are very loose on my foot. They are still wearable for around town, but I wouldn't want to test them for a long day of walking because the loose straps would probably rub blisters over time.
