Lovely sick little film

An exploration of the darkest, sickest side of human nature, done pretty well given that it's obviously on a low budget. Every major character, and most of the minor ones, is sick, really sick. It isn't even just the characters though, each location, even the props maybe, turns out to be sick too - an initial good impression, even flashy or classy turns out to be at best faded grandeur, peel back the veneer and it's old, decrepit, and sick, very sick. Some of the shots are sick too, you can imagine them on set saying "can we really film that, it's sick?" - turns out that yes they could, and did. Acting is not bad either, all the leads are good, minor roles are a bit patchy but not enough to spoil it.

But the great thing about this film is that it (sometimes repeatedly) get you to empathise, even sympathise, see each character in turn as a victim, even the good guy... then it tears off the veneer again and shows you that yes, they are just a sick **** that deserves everything that's coming to them, and the film doesn't disappoint in that area either. Not light entertainment, not easy watching, don't watch this for the action, or the gore, or the nudity (all there, a bit, all done ok, but not the main thing), watch this to see how sick these characters are, remembering that it's only a movie and in real life people aren't this sick... maybe.

Good, but not for general entertainment...

Its a low budget film. I can imagine that the story and some of the scenes can be like marmite - some people will love them some hate them. However, if you are able to put these things aside and you are looking for something a little different, this might be reasonably good.

The darker side of human nature..

Everyone in the film is broken in some way or another (some much more than others). The writing demonstrates a deep understanding of how humans manipulate each other. Be warned this film is not for the easily triggered.

Seriously perverse and disgusting. Just full of lies and female TBD.

Treachery, betrayal and deception. The tools of a woman's trade. Just like it is!

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Great little film. I usually shy away from low budget stuff like this but when its done as well as this is you really cant go wrong.

Well deserved ending

I thought this was a great film. Full of twists and turns. Another film that shows you don't need a massive budget to produce good cinema.
