Disappointing watch after the reviews

Working hard to be 'quirky' but unfortunately, very predictable: one of those American cinema's recent directors/genre of "wannabe indie" movies. For example, how many more of these movies will have a night scene ending up in someone else's pool without their permission, have a chat about their difficult childhood/emotions.. then, suddenly, after days of insult to each other, than voila, they are in love, and still fight, separate and reunion with a dramatic gesture by one of them at the end.. familiar? yes, it is very familiar.. happened a lot of indie claiming American director movies recently. Actors don't even have chemistry, in addition to the superficial story, their sudden love after long-term rude exchange and despise (that we expect anyway) is not credible. I only rented due to the full excellent reviews here and just regret the time and money spent. I normally love indie movies, from anywhere in the world, but this one tries hard...

I can't say this was a full fledged movie but it had a message, which probably wasn't clear, and that is, when you help others, you help yourself. Happiness is in serving, not being selfish.

Beautiful tale expertly told. It skilfully avoided clumsy cliches and tropes but still provided a sweet uplifting tale. Wonderful acting and directing.

This film is a must have purchase. The storyline is bold with two depressed people trying to figure out life, themselves and each other, and yet it's been written so beautifully so simply that it has you giggling away. Katharine Emmer and Josh McDermitt are wonderful in the portrayal of their characters to the point that you forget it's just a film, within minutes you are investing everything you have in these people, but don't just take my word for it, own it, rent it, watch it, laugh and cry then laugh some more.

A nice whimsical and ever so slightly heart-warming little film. Nothing unpredictable but the two leads are funny and likeable.

I beg anyone and everyone to watch this film, it's truly incredible. It warms your heart in so many ways, with laughter, with sadness and with pleasure. This has quickly become one of my favourite films due to it's simplicity and pure class. I honestly believe this film will win many awards, if it doesn't then I'll be very shocked! Katherine Emmer and Josh McDermitt play the characters perfectly and make you feel almost as if you're watching a documentary, their relationship drags you in to the screen and captivates you throughout. I fell in love with the characters, the screenplay, the scenery, I fell in love with the entire film.
