My husband is pleased with this purchase. I must admit that I was a little worried about buying jeans without being able to try them on first. The jeans arrived this morning and and they are a good fit.

I've been wearing Lee jeans for 50 years. Quite possibly more, but I don't remember what my Mom bought for us when I was a kid. Lee jeans fit me best, and they don't cost an arm and a leg. I went through the entire GWB administration with four pairs of black Lee jeans. They held up fine. The four pairs I bought when Obama was elected were noticeably poorer quality--after a few years they showed small flaws like stray stitching and discolored areas and frayed pocket edges. I bought two pairs a few years ago and had to set one aside because it developed a small split. And they were on the baggy side. Then only 15 MONTHS ago (Amazon says the return period expired on June 16th 2020) I bought the ones in the picture. I loved them--they fit great and they were very comfortable. I wear them for yardwork, yes, but I'm 64 and work at a desk. I'm not hard on my jeans. And you can see what happened. I just leaned over to pick up the dog's water dish and...instant ventilation. And don't think they were overstuffed. I tend more toward a "no-arse" than a "fat-arse."

The Lee jeans I bought as a teenager were heavy raw denim, un-Sanforized, that shrank a ton and took forever to break in and wore like IRON.

These? Different animal. These aren't JEANS in my view. They're just cheap cotton pants made in Nicaragua (the quality went South too ha ha). And it hardly matters to me that they're cheap if they're only going to last 15 months.

What am I gonna do? I'm a Lee jeans guy. Always have been. But no more. No more Lee jeans for me. I'm going to have to go nomad for a while until I figure out a new brand for me. I'm too old for this....

Beware of FIT Problem

This is the 3rd time I've purchased these jeans.
The first 2 times I was very happy with the fit and style.
This time, the waist and back of the jeans have a very different cut.

The waist does not come up as high as with the previous purchases. But the worst part is the back is cut so low that it makes me feel like I'm in a "plumber's" position all of the time. (Sorry plumbers.)

And that's before I sit down. When seated, the back of the pants pants go down well below what would be considered comfortable (or socially acceptable).

Needless to say, they are going back.
Hopefully, the waist and back fit problems will be resolved at some time and the pants will again fit very well.

I recently ordered some Lee blue Jeans from you. I mistakenly ordered them with a 38" waist when they should have been 36" waist. It was my mistake so I did not return them My bad!!! Shame on me!!!

So,, I left the tags on two pair of the jeans and took them and one other pair from which the tags had been removed to a local alterations shop. I asked them to alter the jeans so they would be 36" in the waist. Then, I received a phone call from the alterations shop. They told me that the pants are clearly marked 38" in the waist but that is wrong. The pants are actually 40" in the waist so they could not alter them and make them look right. Specifically, if they altered the 40" waist down to 36" waist, the hip pockets would be touching, and look bad. So in a few minutes when the Alterations shop opens, I will go pick them up from the alterations shop.

I don't want this to sound like I am just bellyaching. I love the efficiency, effectiveness, and expediency of Amazon. I only mention this so you can investigate this further. It is a problem of which you should be aware. I can not believe I am the only person who has encountered this.

While I have your attention, the size scale for khaki pants is too confusing to be understood by someone with a simple mind like mine. You need to use the same size scale as is used for jeans.

Labeled correctly but clearly random pants

I have been very frustrated with these pants. I bought two pairs (different colors) of the exact same size and fit to match a pair I had already bought from a store. They arrived, labeled correctly, but both were clearly very different. One pair was about 2 inches taller and much baggier than my store bought, and the other pair must’ve been about 6 inches larger around the waist. I’d like to mention again they were labeled correctly with the sewn in labels, it’s not that they were just mis-pulled and the bag labeled wrong or something like that. I’ve tried to order these pants in the past and had the same problem.

Bought less than a month ago, already ripping at pocket seam

I thought I fell in love with this style/brand/quality, but it turns out that not so much. I purchased several pairs at the end of August 2021, wore one of the pairs normally, washed it and dried it carefully, and it's ripping at the pocket seam on the right in the back. I don't know if it's just a fluke and happening to only one pair, but I'm very disappointed and probably will have to switch brands yet again. It shouldn't be that difficult to find a quality pair of denims, they used to last way longer than that. What's up with that?

I have always liked Lee Riders - since high school. I'm still built just right for "classic fit" jeans and was happy to find this pair available online. They arrived promptly and fit great! Comfortable and nice-looking. Then, maybe 3 weeks later, they ripped badly in the rear (vertical tear, just from bending over). No, I am not some plump person who shouldn't wear these; I am exactly the build they're designed for. So I thought maybe it was a fluke and got a fresh pair (Amazon was great about the exchange). Again, a great fit - but this pair lasted only one week! The tear is almost exactly the same. Not a seam; it's the fabric itself that is just too thin and poorly woven. This time I'm giving up and getting a refund.

These jeans are really low on the waist. I have the same pair I purchased from a clothing store and they fit perfect. These sit below my rear end! These are cut 3 inches lower than my other LEE Men's Premium Select Classic-Fit Straight-Leg Jeans. My butt falls right out of them. I cannot even return them so Im stuck with a useless pair of jeans!

Less than a year and into the trash

The first review that I looked at today after my pants tore out at the beginning of my work day was from a guy who had the exact same problem in the exact same place. I'm a wrangler's guy. I thought I'd try something different. I couldn't sit on my billfold in the car in these jeans without wrenching my back, I felt the it was less than good, and clearly the durability is unacceptable. And I don't wear these everyday. Hardly.

I bought two of these Lee Classic fit jeans from Amazon. One from 6 months ago, and one from about that time and both already have holes in the back pockets just ready for it to rip all the way down the buttox. I’ve been machine washing and letting them air dry, but they still formed holes. I bought some jeans straight from the Lee company website and they were able to give me a tailored look as well as the jeans seem to be made with much more quality denim. Also, the classic fit isn’t even sold by Lee anymore on their website, but is still sold on here which makes me think that these are dated jeans.
