These pants are well made and very comfortable. I have just recently turned 66 and grown beyond the size 34 waist I've worn for 20 years. Yes, the metabolism really does slow down.

I wanted something that would look as nice as my regular casual slacks but have some give to them. These fit that bill perfectly. However, as other reviewers have stated, these specific pants, for some reason, are cut shorter than advertised. Every other pair of 32 inch inseam slacks I own cut just right at my shoes, but this pair ride at least one, and more like one and one-half inches, too high.

I love the fact that Amazon allows easy returns and preorders. But I wish I had just believed what others had said and ordered the 34 inch length to begin with. Save yourself the hassle. Other than that, you'll love these pants.

Fuzz balls

I like the lightweight fabric. For some odd reason the right leg produces fuzz balls along the front thigh. No where else does this occur.
Pant leg and backside fit SNUG.....

These Cargo pants and Lee's Performance Extreme Comfort pants are hands down the most comfortable pants I have ever owned. I already owned many pairs of the straight fit pants and extreme comfort jeans. I had to try the Cargo version and I am not disappointed. Lee Extreme Comfort pants and jeans are now pretty much all I wear now.

Comfortable, but awkward looking and not great for outdoor use

These are an interesting breed of cargo pants, really for someone who doesn't want to look like they are wearing cargo pants, but still needs the extra storage.

They are certainly comfortable, and almost comically flexible in the waist, with a particularly wide stretchy inner elastic belt thing that won't feel tight. If you're having a hard time fitting into these pants, you're probably off by over four inches and need to cut out the carbs!

The stitching is fine. It's not what I would call robust, but good enough for an office environment.. The zipper on one pocket can get caught in material but probably won't, and the belt loops and button are all fastened pretty well.

In my personal opinion, something about the waist is too obviously stretchy. It just doesn't look sharp. Compared to a really nice pair of cargo pants, like 5.11, these don't look that professional because the material is so basic, and the waist has that awkward wideness to it. And that's OK... not all pants have to look crisp and professional. But the entire purpose of these pants, with the smaller cargo pockets, is to look more professional than pants with baggy pockets, and they just don't succeed.

If you're not worried about how you look, these will be very comfortable pants to wear when driving, or perhaps on a airplane trip. If you're planning on working outside, these don't have any stain repelling or rip-stop features, and they just aren't a substantial enough material to be a good choice. They aren't a cheap version of Carhartts... they are more like a redesign of Docker's.

So unfortunately, though these pants do have the positive features I've mentioned, they aren't really the best choice for most occasions, and even though they are pretty affordable, you can find pants just as inexpensive that are better for most uses. These are merely "OK" in my opinion.
