First day wearing these and I'm already not impressed at all.

Material is fine, I feel like I can do my job without the pants ripping (technology support at a large hospital). I could be supporting a board meeting or climbing a ladder servicing a projector or pulling cables installing a auditorium podium and I'd be fine with these pants with the material. I would prefer the zipper being on the left side, I keep my phone on the right side being right handed and have no need for a zipper since I need to access it throughout the day. Zipper is just a hassle. I use a front pocket wallet so no need for security. Just like to have my work phone ready to answer (one of those awful Cisco, looks like an old Nokia phone ones).

Here's what bothers me, the specs on these are stupid. My wife reminded me I had a previous pair of Lee pants for work but the length was too short and it bothered me, she remembered I didn't, so I went with my usual waist, 34, and a length of 32. The length is fine where I'm usually a 30. The waist is now too big so if I wanted to wear these without the 100% dependence of a belt I would probably need a 32. So, from a normal Carhartt size of 34x30 I'm now a 32x32 for Lee pants. Lee, I don't care about my body specs, I want to know the cloths are going to fit me, don't make this about fashion sizing, it's just stupid, men don't care. But if you're holding on to the thought you could still fit in a 34" waist but should probably be a 36" or bigger, get these, they'll make you feel better about yourself without changing your diet and getting into shape.

Here's another thing that really bugged me and brought the review down to a 3 star. I went to use the bathroom and the zipper is, no better way to describe it, dainty. It's this little petite tiny zipper, honestly not that easy to operate its so small. I've never had one this small for a men's pants zipper just going to use the bathroom. I'll keep these for the rotation since I've already paid for them and don't feel like going into Kohls to return it and I'm sure I will wear them sometimes but I'm back to Carhartt men's professional pants with the phone pocket. At least I tried.

Nice try but details are noticeable to me.

These are very comfortable, good looking cargo pants and also very useful. My husband loves the discreet extra pockets that are located inside the leg rather than outside so they don't look as bulky as most cargo pants. However, they run about 2 inches shorter than any other trousers my husband owns and the sewing quality around the pockets is very poor. We ordered 3 pair of these earlier that are too short and not usable, going to Goodwill. They had a stated 30 inch inseam but were more like a 28 inch inseam. Ordered a replacement pair with a 32 inch inseam that is actually 3 inches longer than the previous pair making them a little long for my husband but they'll work.

the measurements are the problem

1st pair I got was a size 38 (my size ) the waist measurement was 39 plus the stretch. this was too large so I returned. the 2nt pair I ordered a 36 ,this with the stretch was good for my 38 waist.BUT I orderd 29 long ---This came in wrong it was 271/2 ???? I needed to alter to a 26 --I needed to have 29 to do this.271/2 was not enough.but not wanting to return again ,my tailor had to open the border the mfg had in place so he could squeeze out my 26 inches long. I WILL NEVER DO THIS AGAIN---I WILL RETURN WRONG MEASURMENTS .

My husband used to wear khaki colored Dockers with hidden cargo pants daily. Dockers stopped making these more professional looking cargo pants with flat zipper pockets. He switched to this product which was not as dressy looking but met his functional needs for office and field work. However, the fabric used shrinks, so they fit when he gets them, and then they shrink vertically so they are too short. The waist is accurate and does not change.

30 length actually measure 28.5" Thats a pretty wide gap. so they are too short.
i ordered the 32", those measured close to 33.5.
i think they need to crack the whip in their Malaysian factory.

I love the stretch of these pants around the waist. However after one wash the length was a full size too short. I ordered several pair and now they are way too short. I will reorder a pair at a longer length to see if they will work.
