Now the negatives: Size is not as stated. I had a pair of 9s but they're about 1/2 a size too big. Not the end of the world, but for shoes priced at this level, I would expect better. Also, as highlighted, they will keep your feet warm, but that's due to not being able to let any build up of warm air developed through walking; out. So expect potentially sweaty feet.
However the most irritating thing is the comfort, or lack of. Again for this price I would expect some form of cushioned sole. There is none. These have a hard sole, so if you're walking on firm ground, be aware your feet may start to ache after a while.
Look, they will keep your feet dry and warm, but so too will a pair of Chinese boots for a 1/4 the price
Perhaps longer than you may expect & also a bit narrower.
I usually wear 7.5 (7.5 is not available sadly).
Size 8 was 'ok' buy a bit long (good width) so I stuck with the size 7 which were perfect in terms of length (a little snug in terms of width).
For shortish muddy walk with the kids, doing the gardening/bonfires etc great. Maybe not perfect for 10-15 mile hikes?!
I suspect pretty good in snow as & when. Warm & great traction underfoot.
The only one negative for me is the shoe is awkward to put on but once on, they are nice to walk in, warm and very comfortable.
