Great family movie!

We were looking for a non-Disney movie to show the kids and stumbled across this. Initially sceptical, by the end I was a huge fan! The story centres around a young Zebra missing half his stripes, setting out on a journey to find the fabled magic lake which can give him his stripes. The motto of the story seems to be 'don't judge a book (zebra) by its cover" but this was a fresh way of telling it.

If you have kids, they'll love it. We're watching it again as I type!

Good animation movie!

I liked that the story had a good message - be proud of being different and learn to be comfortable in your own skin - literally. Recognisable voice actors including Loretta Devine. Lovely animation, they really pay attention to the landscape and backdrop in the film. Similar kind of vibe to Lion King with the music. A nice film to watch with your young family.

a nice family animation movie

The whole family enjoyed this film on many levels - the story line, the emotions, and the 3D effect. Get it, you would enjoy it too I'm sure. My kids usually get bored too quickly with most movies but they sat through this one.
