Juvenile and Joyful

In Kevin and Perry Go Large, the slack-shouldered, teenage best friends find their way to the silver screen and Ibiza, where they hope to become famous DJs, and have sex with girls.

But when Kevin’s parents decide to join the adolescent pair on the party island, so begins a generational battle, which features the immortal line: “You’re all saggy and rotted, you’ve never even heard of Oasis!"

And all right, the jokes are a little crude in places but the performances are funny, heartfelt and evocative. It’s a great feel-good film.

Anyone with teenage boys will laugh.

From the characters of the successful TV series, it finds Kevin and Perry on the path of man hood when a unexpected accident allows them to go on a boys holiday to Ibiza and the chance to seek females only to find what relationship and friendship are all about.

Loved this film and my parents always paired me with Kevin right down to my greasy hair spots and attitude.

Going Ibiza this year? I know that I am, so watching this really got me excited for Amnesia :) I fear that the kids of today won't appreciate this movie as it might be perceived as 'dated' but I think (and I am 28) that it is a classic. Best scenes are with Eyeball Paul!

Watched this for the first time Xmas 2019. I’m 50! The music was good, but the characters were really for teenage years of 11 upwards.

I’m old!

Prefer The Inbetweeners.
