Great pair of water shoes from KEEN with just one niggle

I almost didn't buy these as I'd seen so many reviews about the Whisper being really narrow. I
have regular width feet and chose my usual size 6. I don't find them too narrow at all, they just feel like they fit. There's plenty of space in the toe area and it feels like they grip the rear of my feet well. They are easy to slip on and the bungee makes it easy to adjust the fit quickly. I'm marking them down by one star simply because the arch support isn't amazing and as someone who over-pronates a decent footbed means I can walk further without pain, but as these are water shoes, I'm only going to be walking short distances wearing them to get into the water anyway and the footbed feels supportive enough, just without the level of arch support I like. They are really comfy though, hold my foot in place well and whilst I've not yet used them out on the water, they feel capable and are a great replacement to my very old KEEN Uneek water shoes.

Poor fit with little flexibility to adjust.

After researching quite heavily into a new pair of walking sandals I decided to try these based on the number of positive reviews. Sadly, they were tight at the top of the laces with very little ability to widen the gap.
I fully loosened the laces but they didn't really alter the fit much, especially at the back of the sandal. Although just trying them on, they felt OK, I felt that once I'd worn them for any period of time, they would become uncomfortable and would no doubt pinch.
Very disappointing really. I've had similar style sandals that were able to adjust the fit in a number of ways to make them comfortable, these did not.
I've gone back to my Hi-tec sandals, much comfier, more flexible fit, hard wearing and £50 cheaper!

sono comodissime, sia col piede nudo che con i calzini, sembra quasi di indossare delle pantofole!
sciacquandole (che è necessario quando si va in giro nella natura) si asciugano molto velocemente.
ho riscontrato l'unico difetto quando li indosso con il piede nudo: la suola di gomma fa sudare e puzzare i piedi (e a me i piedi non puzzano davvero mai), la cosa è abbastanza fastidiosa perchè il cattivo odore si sente benissimo dall'esterno...

I love these sandals. I've used them in the past to hike and walk on long trips---like through Europe. They protected my toes on the cobblestone streets. I bought a new pair after my old pair got worn out from heavy use over about 4 years. I probably should have replaced them a bit sooner. I wear a 6.5 and show these fit true to size, I probably could get away with a size 7 since one of my feet is a bit larger than the other. These are very durable shoes.

Keen made a great sandal and I loved them but I have a wide foot and my feet swell. I found it was tight. I usually take a D width but I was hoping that these would be wider. I hated to but I had to return them.
I bought Keens walking shoes 2 years ago and I wear them a lot. They look just as good as the first day I bought them. They were also the first shoe that the stitches were insured to last one year. Have not lost a stitch yet.
If you have a normal width foot, I am sure you are going to love them.

These Keen sandals fit as perfectly as a shoe can fit. I am a 6.5 M, and they fit like they were made for my feet. They are as light as a feather and quite comfortable. For me personally, they would be completely perfect if the heel was a little higher, but it's not that much of an issue. I've already worn them kayaking twice, and they have gotten soaked and are as good as new when they dry. It does take a while for them to dry, though, so be forewarned. Overall, I highly recommend these sandals and am already contemplating a pair in another color!

Purchased these for a recent trip to Hawaii. Super easy slip on and off. It made it easy to walk in the sand. I even wore them on a hike in the rainforest. Provided enough support to hike 3 miles...I even felt like I was in 4 wheel drive splashing through the puddles. Definitely recommend for adventures

I am usually between a 6 and a 6.5 in most shoes--the 6.5 at first felt a little tight but after a day of wearing is fine. My feet run toward being a little wide and I had read (on Amazon) that you could size up on the Whisper without it becoming clunky. Probably because they do run just a little narrow, at least on this model, and they are very light. I am not active per se but I walk a lot and these are great for walking. I assume they would dry quickly but I haven't gotten wet yet. They get a little warm, probably because of the closed toe, but I like the protection the toe provides and that I don't have to feel too casual or inappropriate indoors in public by sticking my little piggies out everywhere.
