**If it's on the front cover then it's not a spoiler. :-)** I've found the DC Extended Universe films to be a mixed bag thus far. Man of Steel was ok. Batman v Superman was one of the worst films that I have ever seen, Suicide Squad was fun but felt like a much longer film heavily edited down and I was disappointed by Wonder Woman. So, my expectations were not especially high here. Maybe five stars is generous but I really enjoyed this one. The action sequences are great. The characters are all really different, and there were just the right amount of them (six) so that they all got an introduction (or re-introduction) and a decent amount of screen time thereafter. Again, not a spoiler as it's on the front cover but... Superman is back and they way that is done was (for me at least) unexpected, handled really well and followed by an action sequence which I really liked. The bad guy and his motive are quite standard but works perfectly fine as a means of getting the League together. I haven't seen Aquaman or Shazam! yet but this film has definitely raised the bar.

Wonder Woman. Aquaman. The Flash. Batman. Superman. You put these in a movie and you should get awesome fight sequences, an epic plot and a villain that you love to hate.

What we actually get: An archivist with a lasso. A dude who can swim fast and make sarcasm seem like a day job. A hyper kid. An old rich guy who needs to realise the ‘old’ part. Oh and an angry Clark Kent. A really, really, angry Clark Kent... for two seconds. Then we just get Clark.

Action sequences? Hello CGI!
Villain? Selfish, jumped-up CGI moron who’s obsessed with power and a mama’s boy. Essentially, he’s a guy throwing the proverbial teddy in the corner.

This was really disappointing!
I understand that these are major characters that don’t need any introduction, but some development would have been nice! Some introduction would have been preferable to ‘oh look, there’s Ben Affleck being himself being Batman’ or ‘there’s Wonder Woman’.

On saying that, what fight scenes there were (that didn’t involve an overload of CGI) were entertaining. And some of the one liners were hysterical. Most of the movie, though, consisted of doom and gloom disaster tropes.

Overall it is a good ‘in the background’ movie, or popcorn action film, but if you want a movie with substance? Don’t bother.

Good but not great! Wonder Woman was a better movie, Erza was good though, Aquaman's a litter bug👎

I thought I give this movie a go after seeing Wonder Woman which is brilliant.
Bruce Wayne wanted to organise a group of superhumans with extraordinary God like abilities to stop Steppenwolf from conquering the Planet Earth.
The CGI is not bad, Ben Affleck was a good Bruce Wayne but didn't look good in a mask, better than Christian Bale though. Gal Gadot is the best Wonder Woman ever and a scene stealer with her great screen presence and acting, Cavill is a good Superman but Christopher Reeve is better and looks like a handsome Extraterrestrial that is the law enforcement and ambulance all rolled into one with his neon blue eyes and ultra black hair with a titan height like Diana Prince.
Ezra Miller may not be my fav actor but I liked his Barry Allen and Flash, very good character development from him and his "pet semetary" reference made me chuckle. Victor Stone is the most impressive looking out of them all and it's fantastic to see a him in Action. Aquaman is the most annoying character to me, he drinks a glass bottle and breaks it then dumps it in the ocean! As an Environmentalist, that lowers my rating for the movie from 8 out 10 to 6 out of ten. Aquaman can't keep the environment clean and he wants to save the Planet? No wonder I see litter in lakes, rivers and beaches because some people think being a hero is dumping rubbish is normal and being "cool" when it's not. Kids imitate what they see. Bad influence and Hollywood should stop this type of display because it is getting out of order. My rating is reduced to 3 out of 5 stars equals to 6 out of 10. Sorry but Hollywood should change their ways.

Good family afternoon movie

I'd heard bad things, but as someone who was a big justice league fan in the 80s, this captures the authentic justice league feel. There was always that extra bit of humanity to the characters. When they had their solo stints they were always really serious, and fighting for survival, but in justice league, they were always a bit more relaxed, so there were more laughs. This film captures that angle on superheroes.

This makes it a really good movie for kids. An adult might consider that the plot doesn't fully make sense in exact details, because that is what adults always do. Why is Lois' hair red, when Lana had red hair? Why is Alfred not properly dressed as befits his character? that sort of thing might also annoy some of the pedants. For kids though, most of the movie is just a really load of awesome stuff going by quickly, in massive detail and totally blowing their minds away. Okay, that is for me too, but it would totally work for kids.

On top of this, the nice crescendo to a positive end where fear itself is shown to be something we should avoid, nice shallow/deep message to deliver in a spectacular finale. This is the kind of film that good childhoods are made of.

I think the sort of Batman film this is, can be shown in the sort of Batman that is in the film. Affleck is not the ultrabuff modern superhero type. He is an avuncular Batman, who wants to save the world. A far more emotional Batman than we are used to seeing in recent years. The time is right for a return of heroes like this, with a bit more humanity. Role models we can aspire to, rather than role models who are far more than we could ever be.

Justice: Just Is

I watched dawn of justice a day ago and have now watched this. I awarded the Batman v Superman just two stars and if anything this is an even worse film. Like Dawn Of Justice It is basically a film about a group of fairly dull super heroes in search of coherent plot. When our heroes fail in this mission the are reduced to exhibiting their back stories in an effort to link unimaginative and often nonsensical but cleverly filmed special effect and fight scenes.

The actors aren't really tested and once again the usually brilliant character actress Amy Adams is given nothing to work with. I just hope they were all paid well for this. It is only really the fact that we continue to be enthralled by the likes of Superman and Batman that I kept watching. Unfortunately, this is a film of no substance that can't hide the fact behind F/X, action and grand gestures because none of those are that original or amazing.

Enjoyable! It's definitely nice to see part of the DC the Gang back together again! Really wished Zack Snyder would have be able to deliver his Full rendition of the Film due to the unfortunate incident with his Daughter during production and subsequent change of Directorship...I guess the World and people in General like Flash rightly said "are a little Slow"...and they really Need a Slower Development of Characters before we all see them together in a Movie like this to be Fully appreciated!..Marvel got this right by Introducing Characters one at a time and developing them slowly before the Avengers were Finally released... Same formula seems to apply here especially noted with the Public reaction to Aquaman and WonderWoman stand alone Films...DC Take it slow one by one and I can easily see DC Defeating Marvel for for £2 Billion Smash Box Office record in the not too distant Future...

I hope the cast were paid really well for thier efforts

It started with so much promise, but the script was a sows ear, and no hope of a silk purse at the end of it. Eventhe jokes just, fell so flat. It was like it was the abridged version of the synopsis of the story they could have told but the bean counters all said nope, just throw some conversations around lots of special effects. The audience will lap it up. I would have turned it off, but the hubby wanted to 'give it a chance' so I surfed the news for the last hour.

Set shortly after batman dawn of justice
Batman recruits super heroes to fight a alien baddy seeking to find a box that was hidden from him for thousands of years his name is steppenwolf, i was confused briefly because i thought steppenwolf was from a boney m song. Batman recruits the flash a cyborg, wonderwoman, and brings superman from the dead and the go to defeat the bad guy...... I admit i never saw this in the pictures because i wasn't keen on afflek, but I'm wrong he was good in this.
Still dont know who's the cyborg was
