5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent value

Yes, as other reviewers have stated, it is a bit on the large size and the laces snap easily. So why do I still give it 5 stars? Because they seem to be a quality product and are built to last. Having read other reviews I decided to replace the laces and found out how brittle they were when they snapped as I tried to remove them. I purchased a pair of 75cm flat laces and it did take quite a while to fit them. In the end I used some wire that was thick enough to go through but flexible enough to bed around the heel of the slipper. If you have any mains cable lying around, remove one of the copper wires (the earth is probably easiest and doesn't need to be stripped of insulation). Make a small loop at one end and thread the end of the lace through it and attach it with insulating tape. This both secures the lace to the wire and protects the sharp end of the wire. Feed the wire down one side of the slipper and bend it when it gets to the heel. With slight pushes and continuously bending the wire you should be able to tease it all the way round. It did take a while to do the first one but, once I got the hang of it, the second was far easier. Once all the way round remove the wire and thread the end of the lace through the eyes on the top of the slipper and adjust till both ends are equal length. You can then tighten the lace easily to provide a more snug fit. This all might sound like too much faff to be bothered with but I am very pleased with the result
