Jesse Stone: Innocents Lost

7.01 h 30 min2011X-RayPG
Tom Selleck returns as Paradise's anguished former Chief of Police, Jesse Stone, in his most gripping mystery yet. Cindy Van Aldan was like a daughter to Jesse. Now she's dead. Although all signs point to a suicidal drug overdose, Jesse knows his friend better than that and will stop at nothing to avenge the lost innocence and subsequent death of the young girl he once mentored.

Another gd J Stone movie

We are already fans of the Jesse Stone movies. This is another well made film keeping that slightly darker edge to it all thanks to good acting, cinematography & music.
If you’re looking for an upbeat happy sunny detective - this isn’t it!! J Stone is a man of few words but he is methodical, stubborn, brooding & loves his whisky ... but always gets things done despite everything often being ‘against’ him & his small team. There are quirky exchanges which might only make sense if you have followed all of the films in order. Good viewing.

My husband liked some of the writing and enjoyed the dialogue. I found it a bit slow with lots of “moody” walking around.

Interesting and up to date story, as story line is about abuse of several kinds,Excellent portrayal of characters by talented cast. Worth money to keep DVDs as you note some careful nuances every time you see these tales.
