you know when you use something you think to yourself why didn't I get one of these before. these clamps are one of those things . I am not a good DIY person I can reduce wood to sawdust easily and ruin most things I try to fix. Normally if I need a helping hand I can call on the hands of Mrs C as long as its not to cold and its not raining. when it is cold and raining I have my grandson shaky Jake who will turn up to lend a hand if I need it. however in these times things are more difficult I and Mrs C are shielding , we do have our 9 year old grandson staying with us as his mum works in the local hospital and doesn't want to risk him becoming infected. But have you tried peeling a nine year old away from x box and I pad its not easy. I have been repairing my raised beds in the veg garden and I struggled on my own . Both Mrs C and bear the fortnight expert were far to busy to help so I was on my own. these clamps are brilliant its like having a Mrs C or a bear with you all the time . I have used them a dozen times since they arrived . the next task I have for them is to hold some plane wood while I try my hand at chip carving. a great pair of extra hands.

Very impressed with these. Feels quite solid and should be adequate for most uses.
Note you get the Irwin Quick-Grip. There seems to be some confusion around the mini grip on Amazon.
