Although I don’t have a lot of strength in my hands, being 62 now & a woman, I was able to build up the porta shower and hand tighten all the parts sufficiently that they did not let air pressure or water escape when I pumped it up to pressurise the tank. The pictures in the instruction manual could have been clearer as to which way around the small white parts should go but trial and error sorted that out. I found dipping the ends of the hose into a cup of boiling water softened them enough for me to fit them over these small white parts before screwing them down, I was assembling this in my freezing laundry in January in Scotland & the pipe was pretty ridged with cold.
I bought an additional 10-litre water carrier so I can top up the porta shower if extra washing is required. Note: this porta shower says it is 7 litres capacity, but you are actually only meant to fill it with a maximum of 5-litres. This would be a great buy for camping, families with kids going to the beach, and certainly dog walkers who take their dogs to muddy areas or beaches. I am thrilled with this purchase.
