Fun, sass and a bit of romance.

Ok so having read and enjoyed the book, I decided to watch the movie. I'm glad I did. I think you will enjoy this movie even if you haven't read the book. The movie itself follows the book closely, so there really is no need to read it.

If you want to detach for a couple of hours, and watch something heart warming this film is great. However please don't think this is a big budget Hollywood movie, as its not. But please don't let that comment put you off. This is well filmed, well written and enjoyable. With the main actors playing their parts well and true to the book. The supporting actors are equally good and provide endless entertainment. Although the star of the show has to be the rooster 'cocky'

For those that have read the book, rest assured the actors portray the characters well, with the same chemistry as in the book.
For those that haven't read the book (which i do recommend as there are some extra scenes, which aren't included in the movie, but doesn't spoil it at all)
The story is set in a small country town of Quincy, a small town in Georgia. Where the secret Crown Billionaires live. This is where our heroine Summer lives. (Played by the sweet as pie, Emma Rigby ) She is as bright and breezy as her name. Until provoked. When she turns into a proper Southen Belle with attitude and sass. Meets Hollywood heart throb Cole Masten. (Played by the charismatic Johann Urb) who is filming in Quincy likes to push Summers buttons.
The pair have obvious chemistry and the will they won't they relationship has you on the edge of your seat. As they begin their journey together. With fun, sass and lots of romantic moments. It is definitely a heart warming film I enjoyed

Having watched The Protector with Emma Rigby I was bored with this movie. Emma trying to sound like a southern belle really didn’t help. The characters didn’t give off the spark I was expecting. I know it must be difficult to make a film based on a novel, but it can be done and this film was just rushed for me. I don’t think it is worth buying but if you want to watch it then rent it.

An undemanding watch

The experience was good - the film has a reasonable story line, appealing characters and good actors. It also followed its fairly well-trodden path with a good pace; but it gets a bit lost in the middle with some rather extended and gratuitous steamy scenes that will probably have many people reaching for the fast-forward button

Absolutely loved it! I know it was a 5* film but the acting was great for the story lie. The actors did a great job and I fell in love as I watched it!
I haven't read the book yet but I will and I will definitely watch the film again and again
