A very good minor movie.

This is one of those animated films made because the studio had enough money to throw into something, since there is no "moral lesson", or any attempt of making an unforgettable classic. But that is not to say this one is not worth your time. It is FUN, and occasionally funny, made with lots of love and care. A bunch of kids turn into fish thanks to a mad scientists, and try to get back. That's it. Oh, and there is a great villain character played by late Alan Rickman, played beautifully.

Again, this movie does not really have a point or a moral, but it is entertaining, and made with a lot of heart, with some of the best animation out there.

Clausewitzian, and above all, fishtastic.

Dear all,

As an avid cinephile (I got a C in GCSE media studies), I must say that this film is TRUE kino. No other film accurately depicts transhumanism and dystopian regimes like this one. I consider this to be a chilling prequel to 2004's Half-Life 2 (VALVE Studios) - Alan Rickman's character is very similar to Wallace Breen, head of combine administration on Earth in the year 2006. Coincidentally, 2004 was also the year in which I first saw this film - when I was on a lads' holiday in Cyprus.

Furthermore, I was very impressed to see the military strategies enacted by the crabs in the film - reminds me very much of my Europa Universalis IV playthrough with Albania.

This truly is the best film ever made. Tarantino could never. This film is so powerful that it killed Kubrick.
