I felt I had to write something just to counter the utter nonsense reviews others have left. My wife and I had a good laugh over some of them though. These reviewers should write comedy. Firstly, I'm a size L (large) so I bought L (large) and that's what I received... and they fit obviously. If you're XXL and you order S, they won't fit, stop being dumb! Secondly, these are undergarments not jogging bottoms! Seriously, who needs to be told this? They have an open fly so you can pop your manhood out of your pants (UK term) and out of your trousers. I wear (in order) pants, then the thermals and then trousers on top. Toasty and warm. Thirdly, they're nice and warm, perfect for dog walking when it's -5 as it has been recently. So in summary.

These fit perfectly.
They're really warm!
They go underneath your regular trousers!
They're very good value!

Perfect in every aspect, except . . .

I purchased these long johns because I thought they were very good value for money; & they are -- really. They are so nice & warm, comfortable, easy-clean & well designed to look good -- I even use them in place of regular pyjamas, except for one thing: after the first wash, & subsequent wear under my trousers, I felt them slowly sliding down my hips & onto my legs so much so that I found myself constantly trying to grab them, through my trousers (& shirt), to pull them back up to my hips! Terribly embarrassing when one is in a public place or with female company! Letting them carry on sliding down underneath my trousers unfettered was NOT an option, as beyond a given point on it's way down, it felt exactly as if it was my trousers that were abandoning me! Clearly, the elastic in the rim of the garment at hip level, loses it's 'embrace' of the hip & starts sliding downwards after the first wash. And no, I did not wash it in excessively hot water -- just in a cool temperature wash. So, instead of returning it back to the seller, which I thought would be petty on my part, I simply made a half inch incision in the seam of where the feeble elastic lived, & inserted a new, more taut elastic band using a safety pin to thread it all 'round the seam. Now it sits securely on my hips -- & no more 'pulling it up' every few minutes like a schoolboy in the playground! Otherwise a very good product; I am very pleased with them.

With respect, These traders have let you down.. OMG..are they for real.. I'm aged 80, slim build, 5ft. 7ins. they barely cover my backside, are (at a stretch ) four inches above my ankles...waist is GOOD... But actually they would be perfect for a PIGMIE.. Sorry you need to have feed back..And
You have been very good so far. But Hay !.. as they were so cheap, Ill keep them .. I'll donate them to a charity shop.. Useless to me..

Excellent long johns, soft white cotton / polyester material, my waist is 42” inches , the XL size of these long johns is given as 40-42”inches
(102-107 cms) and fit me nicely.....the medium size is 33-35” the large is 36-39”Inches these thermal long johns are just the job, I got a very quick delivery, very pleased with my purchase.....P.S the XXL size is given as 43-45 inches.

Good value for money, fit as expected

Firstly, unlike other brands, these fit me as expected. At 5ft8in, 70kg, and a 33in waist, I bought the medium size.

When pulled up to a comfortable height, they sit a couple of inches above my ankles which means I can get longer socks on more comfortably.

The waist is a little loose, but they still sit securely (so far), but they fit very well down the length of the leg. They are a little snug around the calves, but I have larger than average calves for a slim build. If you have very large calves you may find these uncomfortable until they stretch a little.

If they last even a couple of winters, I’ll consider that good value for money.

Just a note, wash these separately when you get them. I bought a black pair and hand washed them before I put them on, and the water turned almost completely black. I’ll definitely throw a colour catcher into was washing machine the first time I machine wash these too, just in case.

Being cheap is a waste of money if they're useless

Size guide suggests these fit as advertised, but either my 29inch (short) leg is gigantically long where these are made, or people seem to be perfectly happy having a crotch join around their knees.

They were thin fabric, which of itself is not a problem - they're just adding a layer. But after a wash or two it was clear they were coming apart.

But its just the proportions and very, very short legs. If you pull them up so the crotch is where it should be, they ended somewhere half-way down my calfs, with a waistband coming up towards nipple height. Or if you keep the ends (uncomfortably) just above your ankles, then the crotch is half way to your knees.

There are "good cheap" things where you get what you pay for and either they don't last as long, or don't quite do their purpose as well as others. But then there's Bad-Cheap where you're not saving money because you gave someone money for something that is completely worthless in return. Bad Cheap. Save your money.

I'm a 6ft tall 12stone man, im a medium in everything but underwear so the small size "should fit" me but they don't, the wasteband fits nicely however the lonh johns are too short, if you pull them up to your waist the ankle parts start riding up to your shins, and if you bend over or sit in a car you can feel the pull on the crotch area.

while at work wearing these SIZE SMALL long johns for the first day today they split as soon as i had to climb into my D2 Reach FLT, right in the crotch area.

I'm not happy as they don't have any stretch to them whatsoever, the size is really too small, theyt are too short and the extra sizing options just makes the wasteband wider, it does nothing for the length of them.

what a waste of money
