What a movie! Ticking all those clichés.

This movie is great. It doesn't drone on for ages about who this killer is, in fact they think it's a little Asian dude whose been killing everyone.

So they all - "all" being film crew and TV hosts etc - decide to fly to the place where the murders had taken place 10 years prior.

On the flight there, the plane crashes straight into Victor's swamp, and he soon sets about murdering them in situ.

There's not much going on, it's basically 10+ people hiding in a crashed plane, and anyone who goes outside gets brutally murdered by huge head himself!

He has some really inventive way of killing people. Check out what he does to the Asian guy's publicist. 🤣

This movie feels about an hour long, but clearly isn't.
If you're expecting loads to be happening, you probably won't enjoy this. I think there are 3 locations total. That's it.

Just embrace the wrong and go with it would be my advice.

Also a little confused as to why they don't plug the hole in the plane with luggage and whatever else they can find?

Absolutely ridiculous, from the very start that the so called humour began, I was cringing in my seat. It should have been advertised as a comedy ( and an awful one at that). The whole movie was a gruelling exercise in purile stupidity, the humour may work if you’re a ten year old and fancy a one off giggle, but for an up to this travesty, very entertaining franchise, it falls flat on its face. The first three movies had an entertaining charm, but this ridiculous rushed attempt is a complete waste of time. The acting was awful, apart from the odd occasion when a couple of the actors tried to make the most of it, and the gore effects on the cheap side. I hope that’s the end of this franchise now, as I like Kane Hodder, but to lower himself to make this appalling mess, I can only come to the conclusion that he needed the money. Honestly, don’t waste your money, time, or insult your intelligence by watching this dreadful creation.

The hatchet films in general are quite literally, 'bloody' fantastic. This however is the weakest title in the Hatchet quadrilogy hands down. Lazy storyline, with the majority of the film taking place inside a wrecked airplane segment. Not enough of Victor Crowley himself in the film, too much attention given to a cast of characters you couldn't really care less about, not even an extended cameo from one of the Impractical Jokers added much interest. If you're a fan of the Hatchet series you'll enjoy the film, just don't expect it to be anywhere near as good as the previous 3.

An overlooked slasher series. This edition includes all 4 hatchet films on a Spanish release blu ray with English audio. Wanted to buy this set due to the cast of the first film alone. Robert Englund ( Freddy Krueger) Tony Todd ( Candyman) and Kane Hodder ( Jason voorhees) who is in all 4 films as the main character Victor Crowley. If you're a fan of slasher films or any of the stars then it's a must have

Not as good as first three

Watchable and some good horror but not as good as the first 3, I thought story line could of been better. I don't think it will take of and if they make a fifth they need to change tactics, we will just have to see but I give it 3 star and that is because I feel generous as its worth about 2 and half.

Another good hatchet movie

Although it is the weakest of the series, it is still a good film in its own right. If you enjoyed the 1st 3 films you will likely get something out of this film as well.

This is the worst hatchet film ever don't waste your time of money. They have made it a very corny comedy horror with very bad cgi. 1-3 have been good films but this is an abomination
