However, they fell apart on literally the second wearing. The inside layer seperated and the joins at thumb and fingers for some reason decided to come apart.
I contacted the seller and apparently I have to pay postage to send these back even though i'm a prime customer.
Not impressed, won't be buying from these again
When they arrived they looked nice but putting them on I soon discovered the lining was not stitched to the outer glove properly so needed immediate repair.
Once on, although I had ordered XL, they felt very tight. As warmth is trapped in the space around your fingers this tightness meant that they actually offered very little in terms of warmth with my fingers like ice blocks.
The only upside was the lining does initially feel nice but is of little use. Definitely give these a miss and spend a little more on a real Thinsulate glove.
Although I do feel slightly guilty about someone else inheriting an ineffective pair of gloves these will go in the Salvation Army clothes bank as I suppose they are better than nothing, but that is as good as I can say.
They look perfectly attractive and are comfortable to wear. In milder weather they might be, if anything, too warm, but that, in my view, is a nice problem for a pair of gloves to have. They look averagely robust for an item of this kind. I suspect they will last two or three winters.
I contacted sock snob & they did send a replacement which was a good gesture, the 2nd pair fit a bit better but unfortunately still not a great fit & are a bizarre shape for a glove (unless you have giant fingers) so it must be the way the gloves are
Id probably consider sock snob again as they did want to make things right but I couldn't really recommend the gloves as I had to go elsewhere to find gloves that fit
Size was L/XL. I would put them as medium at the most generous
