It’s just funny

Hilarious antics by the hapless gardeners, I can relate to this in so many ways, when you’re looking from the other side of the fence, it’s just funny, can’t wait to watch the next episodes. Well written & directed .

How did this rubbish get made?
I haven't seen much of this. Only a few minutes, to be honest. But it is so bad in almost every respect that I couldn't watch any more unless I was being well paid. The acting is abysmal. The script is terrible. The 'humour' is non-existent. It feels as if it's been written by an eleven year old.

Manure.
The opening scene shows a young man walk into a hut, the door hits his colleague who then clutches his head. The young guys asks 'What's wrong' and the guy says 'What do you think?'. The young guy says 'I don't know, I'm not a psycho'. The injured guys says he's got a bleeding head and asks the young guy what he thinks is wrong. The young guy says 'I don't know!' and walks out. That's the opening salvo from this. If you find that funny, fill yer boots. If, like me, you think this is the worst comedy you've heard in several years, save yourself the bother.

Very silly, but has a lot of potential
It's difficult to judge a show from it's pilot, but I think Green Fingers could go one of two ways - annoyingly silly and too farcical, or actually very funny and watchable, depending on how the show develops. I liked Bob's patient, dry humoured character a lot and found him quite relatable, I would like to see how things go for him and hopefully see more of his family life. I would hope that Des's (Bob's gardening assistant) silliness is toned down enough to make me want to watch more as I'm really not a fan of the whole over the top 'village idiot' thing, but I'll definitely give the show a chance if more episodes are added.

Endearing and funny sitcom.
While I was watching the third outing I could actually sense myself smiling so I did find it very amusing and laughed out loud in parts. The lads are brilliant as usual and play off each other great.
This has the potential of being a proper tv sit com so should be prompted to be shown on regular tv.
Well done to all on a pleasing show.

Cringe TV
So disappointed in this series. From the description I had hopes it would be funny, not at all. Terrible acting. Sad to see Pete Bennett in a role that makes him look like an idiot, very demeaning. I couldn't get past 20 mins. How this was in my recommended list I don't know, I've not watched any other show like it. I will not be watching any more of this.

Chuckle Brothers go Gardening?
Very well written but the over-acting is verging on satirical. A few continuity errors, especially in the first episode. However it is enjoyable and reminds me of Last of the Summer Wine & Chuckle Brothers which can only be a good thing!
Over all it’s a pretty incredible effort. Well done
