More like a bunch of computer game cutscenes...

...or maybe one of those cheesy Hallmark films!
Has an odd retro blue/pink aesthetic that jars against the 1920s backdrop horribly.
Actors are actually mostly good actually! - although a few doing impressions of famous actors, like DeNiro - which is pure cringe!
Plus - the script is super-formulaic - and - they tried to fit too much story into too short a film.
the plot arc is there - but its a plot for a 2-2.5 hr film - there's no time to get to know the characters!
It's not terrible - it's just - it's really up against some classics in the American gangster genre - and it sadly can't compare!

Not good

Just watched this on prime and amazed that I stayed with it to the end. Was waiting for something good to happen, but the only good thing was that the film ended.
Plot was OK about a young guy who progresses through the ranks to become Capone's right hand man....but its just so erratic. The way the plot evolved into the storyline was a disaster in my view added to the fact that the acting was pretty poor.
Worst film I have seen for sometime.

Slow and dull

Very slow, very dull, vaguely accurate but Jack whatever was not Al Capone right hand man. The depicted Al Capone is laughable. Whole thing is a cheap washout

Just endless soppy woman-worship with very little believable plot.

Oh dear....

Wrong dialogues, wrong music, poor acting and poorly researched. Waste of time and money.

same story over and over again.

Ok a new direction, a personal account . But still the same story. jesus there has to be some new idea about this. Somewhere out there there is a story to be told that is not headline history. We all know the history, yet in that history there has to be something else surely
