Very good

Very good movie and well acted, top star cast. The ending was delightfully unpredictable as so many endings were possible. I was relieved and delighted that we were spared those typical mad car chases that go on forever, and mad fist fights that tediously go on forever, and absurd shootouts where 10 guys with machine guns are shooting at one guy and somehow fail to put even one bullet in him. Instead, no time was wasted, every step followed quickly and every point was made quickly, every event was painted swiftly, and nothing was pointlessly drawn out. Brilliant.

This is a comedy, very tongue in cheek and is to be enjoyed while not being taken seriously

The film is about Husband and wife and their two teenage children, one son one daughter . De Nero the father is an ex mafia boss who is in police protection after snitching on other bosses who are now living in a secret location in France.
The whole family seem to have taken on the same type of thinking as their mafia don father, and as such should not be messed with. This has hilarious outcomes as they try to lead a normal life whilst all the time being hunted down by the mafia families they snitched on

Not Gudenov For Me

Despite the A list cast of De Niro, Pfeiffer & director Luc Besson this is at best only ok. This is very much tongue in cheek humour with lots of contrived scenes, violence and the added bonus of the local French villagers all able to speak English? I can see on paper this looked like it could be lol but sadly not for grown ups. Shame. We're The Millers with Jennifer Aniston is much better and funnier.

Seemed entertaining at first but turned quickly into a form of black humour (not funny at all) with unnecessary over the top violence. Does not deliver despite the presence of good actors.

Not the greatest movie but surprisingly entertaining and im quite chuffed that DeNiro still has it in him, although quite tame and slow at first, it becomes more exciting as it progresses. I would definitely watch it again. Great supporting actors, the kids are super mean lol

Really a terrible film on so many levels. The story is terrible and makes no sense. It is a shock that such a good cast and director can produce such a terrible film. I couldn't even watch it to the end.

De Niro can make even the very worst films watchable for me because I love him. This film wasn't one of his best? but I still really enjoyed it, it wasn't bad by any means and had some funny moments. It wasn't too predictable or cheesy. Just an enjoyable film that I'd happily watch again :)
