Does not fit. Could damage screen

Just to clarify I fit this to my m1 Air. Took ages to get the top part to fit. It does with some messing about. The problem is the bottom section. I suspect this was designed for the previous air and not for the 2020 m1. The bottom is not 100% snug at the back section. So it's slightly lifted off. This means when the screen is opened to 90 degrees. It's touching the bottom of the screen a d you can't open the macbook further without risking putting pressure on the bottom of the screen. The laptop also does. It close fully. It closes enough to turn the macbook off, however it's sat on the clips that hold it on. I decided to return it and go for the incase sold by apple which is over 3x more expensive however has excellent reviews and is sold directly by apple which gives me confidence. It's been designed specifically to fit the m1. When you pay £900 for a laptop, £40 on a case isn't un reasonable.

Not good for MacBook Air M1

I purchased it twice, and it lasted a bit more than 2 months each time. The first time I bought it, I noticed the top fully didn't fit, but it wasn't loose, so I ignored it. After a couple of weeks, I noticed the corner of the top cover was cracked. I thought maybe it was damaged in my backpack. So, I purchased a second one in black colour. Again I struggled to fit the top part, and it didn't fitfully. A couple of weeks later, the corner again cracked then I lost the part of the cover. I haven't moved the laptop around. It was only used at home. The first cover I bought on 27 December 2021 spent £13.99. The second cover I purchased on 14 March 2022 and paid 12.99.
So, today, I am searching for a new cover again. What a waste of time and money!

This computer that someone gave to me that is named after a fruit needs protection and so far, this has done a satisfactory job. I will however be producing one from my woodwork barn soon that will do a better job.

to save someone else the hassle, I'm mentioning this is does not fit the 2179 model MacBook Air 13" 2020...the top fits nicely, but the bottom clips can't get round the new MacBook Air because it's a bit thicker, so I understand.

Installed this and used for about 2 weeks. I dont even use my laptop much but today adter afew daysof installing the case noticed a big crack on top side.
I guess this product is pretty poor quality and really cannot recommend.

The only positive is that it looks quite nice when installed and for that reason I left it on until it started to crack.

Save your money buy something better made. Thanks.

Will not clip properly to my MacBook Air 2020 tried every way possible and despite it saying “gently” clip on I found myself ending up trying to push it on with a little force which concerned me more that I might end up scratching my laptop when the purpose was to save it from scratching it.
