Stands the test of time.

When I saw this on Prime, I started to tell my teenage daughter about when I went to watch it in the cinema on it's release and how everyone screamed at the ending! On Prime videos, info on the film and actors pops up and trivia about the film and gaffs. Well I never knew about the original ending and how early viewers didn't like it so they had to go back and film the ending that made me scream all those years ago! I must admit, I think they made the right decision but watching this again all these years later, I can see why so much was made of Douglas's character touching the kitchen knife as that was more in keeping with their original ending as was the mention of the opera story and the heroine killing herself!

This film stood the test of time for me and I enjoyed watching it again. However, I did have some problems with the sound watching on my Kindle Fire it kept dipping.

Awesome. Glen close super hot but dangerous. Michael Douglas brilliant. Clever intricate love, desire, ego, loyalty, passion, pain, loss, greed, remorse, consequence, fear all in one. All things we humans relate to.

Be more sensitive to people`s feelings and emotions.

Again, another classic. First rate acting from the main stars It shows how we can really mess things up if we don`t to the right thing, and not respect each other more. Crossing boundaries here is not a good idea in reality, but what a riveting watch when they do and got a good film from it.

Good thriller.

Stellar performances from Michael Douglas and Glenn Close raise the level of this thriller to almost cult status,
i believe that this was the start of the psychotic spurned/rejected woman thriller genre which has resurfaced numerous times in other guises.
Totally believable and frightening,

Fatal Attraction is the ultimate obsession flick, no one can top this film, it's a great film except for one major error which is the depiction of an innocent animal being killed, we don't see it, but it is still an awful depiction and not necessary, they went overboard with that. Hollywood needs to just leave animals out of movies.
