So I bought these in December 2020, as Christmas was approaching, I wanted to do more outdoor walking and needed something to fit my large flat feet. As everyone does, you look around, you read reviews and look for value for money. Dunlop is a name that's been around forever, so it made sense to buy wellies produced by them.
Arrived promptly and simply packaged. There, that's that bit out of the way. The wellies themselves are really comfy, as in, I can put them on easily, they don't hurt when I walk, I can still wiggle my toes and there is still a bit of room around my foot. They are long enough so that I know when I'm squelching through mud, I'm not going to get home and have mud on my jeans. Warmth? Well, they're wellies. Warmth comes from what you wear on your feet (thick socks etc). But they are waterproof and have a good grip when walking. Cheap, well made, comfy and does what it's supposed to do...... protect my feet from mud and water.
Otherwise these boots are good, I've been using the same type for years. They last me 3 or more months and I wear them everyday often for a good few hours out walking. I find it simpler to buy a new pair when these start to leak than worry about damaging more expensive wellies.
Compared to other significantly more expensive boots these are just as good and a fraction of the cost.
They are lightweight and durable.
Very comfortable fit - I am size 11 but buy size 12 so I can wear two pairs of socks.
I actually use them for walking boots and do c 3-4 miles a day with them so 2 years of wear for £10.25 is a real bargain.
After 2 years the soles are getting worn down and the first little crack has appeared but they have probably done over 1000 miles of walking!
