They seem to fit perfectly well, leaving me just that little extra space to wear thick socks to save my feet from the cold in winter.
I believe they are the first pair of wellies I’ve owned that hasn’t given me blisters which I was surprised at and they haven’t even developed a leak yet unbelievably.
Needless to say, I’m very happy with these boots and they have served me well and I’m sure they will continue to do so for many more months and maybe even years?
So I bought these in December 2020, as Christmas was approaching, I wanted to do more outdoor walking and needed something to fit my large flat feet. As everyone does, you look around, you read reviews and look for value for money. Dunlop is a name that's been around forever, so it made sense to buy wellies produced by them.
Arrived promptly and simply packaged. There, that's that bit out of the way. The wellies themselves are really comfy, as in, I can put them on easily, they don't hurt when I walk, I can still wiggle my toes and there is still a bit of room around my foot. They are long enough so that I know when I'm squelching through mud, I'm not going to get home and have mud on my jeans. Warmth? Well, they're wellies. Warmth comes from what you wear on your feet (thick socks etc). But they are waterproof and have a good grip when walking. Cheap, well made, comfy and does what it's supposed to do...... protect my feet from mud and water.
Otherwise these boots are good, I've been using the same type for years. They last me 3 or more months and I wear them everyday often for a good few hours out walking. I find it simpler to buy a new pair when these start to leak than worry about damaging more expensive wellies.
It turns out these were a pretty poor choice - they are made for the jolly green giant and not great for him. They weight about twice as much as my size 10 Hunter's - they really do weigh a lot - and the top of the wide is so wide it just flaps around his thin calf.
Cost almost as much to send back as buy so will have to live with them but regretting the purchase.
