Excellent depiction of what the Australian forced did in the desert. Historically accurate.

Ok bit of ww2 propaganda. More a vehicle for displaying Richard Burton 's acting ability than a historical movie. Big scenes were cut out from original film. Disappointed really.

Worth a watch - I think it's really a Sunday afternoon film, just after you've eaten lunch - the family can gather round and enjoy a good old fashioned war film. Get some popcorn in.

For a film that's nearly 70 years old, it remains a quality classic.

A good movie and it is of course a sequel to the earlier one on Rommel. Richard Burton is of course excellent as might be expected. If you like WWII movies from a historical point of view and if you are interested in Rommel as a key German commander then you will probably like this.
