Not very realistic

This was a very weak film with a not much going on. Real of Australian Catholic Institutions were very different, with brutality and child abuse the norm. An institution run by nuns education boys seems fanciful and it would likely be the Christian Brothers teaching boys. Why did the boys have no guilty consciences about committing the cardinal sin?
