They have a mesh top, rubber sole with cushioning inside, and with the elasticated opening I found them a lot easier to slip on with a shoe horn, than other shoes I have.
I like these, they feel comfortable and have a smart look to them.
I've had so many compliments since wearing these to work and the steel tops are just as sturdy as my previous pair, which is perfect for lugging around stock, kegs and the occasional spillage. They fit incredibly and also have a lovely soft arch in the middle too. They are more slip on shoes than laces as I believe they are just for design more than anything so I just tuck them in which I would have done anyway. Nevertheless, very snug and I'm very happy!

Update. 2 weeks in and still great, no blisters and my feet aren't crippled after a 12hour shift.
Update . Still good but the threads are wearing faster than I thought they would. Dont care though, I'd rather go through 3 pairs a year than cripple my feet. Your choice.
As with other safety shoes i ordered a size bigger and the fit is right. Very comfy, lightweight and waterproof. Being slip-ons i do find it hard to put on having wide feet and ankles and wearing thick socks but a shoe horn helps. The back rubs around my achilles so hope this eases with a bit more wear. Overall, much better than my standard issue boots that feel like ski boots - these are lightweight, flexible and look like normal black trainers. Im only putting 4* because of the rubbing at my ankle.
