I have to used resin in years so it was like doing it for the first time.
The actual kit has absolutely everything you need to make a shape etc to a point. I would suggest using a plastic cup, proper plastic gloves and those wooden coffee stirrers from any generic coffee shop. You need the length as the ones provided are too small.
I set out the components in a methodical way and followed the instructions by mixing the resin and the hardener at the ratio of 1:1 but this is not good. The hardener is weaken by the introduction of inks and or anything like chains etc and this is not information readily available in the flimsy booklet.
The inks are important to create a really stunning finish but you must premix them (which can be wasteful) as just dropping them in means at the top of the mould will not set, and I mean it will not set!
I placed objects into the mould which also slows down the setting process and this needs to be factored into your mixing time.
I intend on making other shapes but I will increase the ratio of resin to hardener to 1: 1.25 to allow for dropping inks into a clear mix to get that set floating visual.
The glitter provide is really good and provides a really interesting finish .
A tad pricey but worth the price if it sets harder at the new ratio.

Nice little kit
