Primarily a religious story

Whilst there is nothing wrong with a Christian based film, this was poorly advertised as a general romantic film which I am a sucker for. The basis of the story was entirely a Christian theme and the heroine 'seeing the light'. And I don't feel uplifted by it at all.......which can't be good either. Total cliche.

It's not a cheesy seasonal film
It's about a woman "Seeing the light"
If you are a stout Christian then this may be a film for you
If you are not steer well clear.
I bought this by mistake so Just as well it was £2.99
Had I realised before watching the first few minutes I would have clicked the purchased by mistake button for a refund !

I don't know why the title is called Christmas Mingle for since it's only got a few scenes of christmas, not really christmassy one to me and it's not the best film that Lacey Chabert has been in...

It had a good story but the guy seemed to be to perfect and I wish he had more backbone with his parents for his love life (I mean he was over 30!)

I may still keep this dvd but am debating on it

The story appears to be about someone who isn't a regular churchgoer pretending to be one in order to win someone who is. She is like a 'fish out of water' and after a crash course she becomes a regular churchgoer and the romance blossoms. What a 'believer' is is not at all clear. There is no sign of an evangelical conversion. Even an average Hallmark Christmas romance is better than this in every aspect.
'Boring' would be giving this film too much credit. It is not very funny either.

Not a Christmas film or story

I thought I was going to see a film about Christmas like we start seeing at this time of the year, but it is not at all. The film is about religion and about being a Christian.

About being a Christian not Christmas

I thought this was a film about Christmas but it isn't. It is a film about how taking God into your life makes you a better person.
Great if you believe in God not so great if you don't.
