Bogart movies parodied in style
Verified purchase
Outstanding shameless parody of the Humphrey Bogart film noir movies.(Casablanca, etc,). Screenplay by Neil Simon. Peter Falk as the
tough-talking private eye is at his comic best as he deals with crazy dames, brilliantly played by Stockard Channing, Madeline Kahn, Marsha Mason and Eileen Brennan.Nutty Nazis(led by Nicol Williamson) and French resistance leaders(Fernando Lamas) add to the antics all supported by Dom DeLuise, James Coco, Phil Silvers, among other comic actors. The comic one-liners never let up until the end. This is a very enjoyable movie This version plays in English but only has Spanish/Portuguese subtitles.

Watch this and have a laugh along with the kids

Some great one liners. A nice change to watch a comedy without bad language and needless violence. I bet there must have been a lot of out takes with the actors laughing during the making of the film.

Loved it - watch it again and again, clever send up and affectionate homage - very funny - the actors seem to be having great fun with their characters and playing opposite each other - every actor in the film is excellent.

Everything I expected from the film, just as described.
Well played and only a little predictable.
