I bought a pair of these shorts and the string broke after the first time wearing. I sent them back and got a new pair. The new pair string broke just trying them on the first time and trying to tighten the waist. Would not recommend anyone to buy if they actually need to tighten the shorts.

Standard basketball shorts. They run large though, in my opinion and it was difficult to keep them up with the simple string cinch when I have my phone/car keys/wallet in the pockets at the same time. Makes jogging or working out a bit annoying. An adjustable clasp or even single tie would have been preferred. But if you're just lounging around, these are great and very comfortable.

Just got them and tried them on. Very comfortable and I like the pockets. Nice airy feel. My waist is size 34 and the medium firts me perfect. I would say if you are a couple sizes above or below 34 go with the medium. H
