To be honest, I always wondered about the justification of the £75 price tag Ridge wallets carry. I'm probably missing something, but there just doesn't seem to be enough to warrant the outlay. But I always liked the idea of the design and I'm always bending cards in my pocket
So when I saw this, it was about the price range I always expected to find these. It doesn't come with an adjustment tool, but nor does it require one. The box is quite nice if you're giving it as a gift (as I was to myself. I was surprised and pleased)
The wallet itself feels nice. It's smooth and shiny and feels quite sturdy. It also doesn't feel like it's going to yield in any way or come apart. Of course, time will tell with regard to build-quality and resilience. I always have my wallet in my back pocket (hence the cards bending) and I've felt no creaks or cracks. Well, in the wallet at least
I've based my score on my expectation of this wallet and not as a reference to other wallets. This is important because this can be a tricky little beasty to use. Removing cards can take some practice, a running start and a 20-minute headstart. I'm sure I'll either get used to it or spend less. On balance, I'd currently prefer a bit of faff getting cards out to risk having them damaged by my bum
If you get one of these and after putting in your cards notice the wallet has become wedge-shaped, remove the cards and put them back in with the raised writing towards the closed edge of the wallet. The raised writing causes a slight variation in thickness and the elastic on the closed edge makes it look a lot worse. It's a minor detail, but I wouldn't be buying a wallet like this if the minor details were unimportant
[UPDATE] This wallet has saved my Christmas finances! I couldn't get any cards out to spend on them! :-) 6 stars!

Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings, help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

At £12 I took a punt on this as I hate lugging a big wallet around when I rarely use cash and can pay contactless with a card or my phone.
Expectations weren't high and initially was frustrated at getting cards in and out of the holder. Fairly quickly you get used to the issue and to be honest i'd rather they were tight and secure rather than worrying about the possibility of them falling out. Also put the cards you use most on the top and bottom, that way you can access them quickly and easily.
The money clip is also nice and secure however I tend not to use this as I find polymer bank notes a pain to fold up, it's ok if you have a couple of notes but more than this and you may as well use the old style wallet.
I don't understand the negative reviews, what they are expecting for £12 is beyond me! Overall very happy with the product and would highly recommend.

Sick of having a tatty bulky wallet I decided to try out one of these newer style card holders.
I've been using it for about a week now, and wish I had made the switch sooner.
It's so much more comfortable to carry, and I feel like my cards are properly secure rather than floating loose in my tired old leather wallet.
I took the change over as oppertunity to drop the mass of loyalty cards that I rarely use, so at the moment I only have 4 cards in, but the stretch on the elastic allows plenty of space for more.
I chose this holder over more expensive versions, with a view of trying it out, and maybe look to buy a more expensive version in the future, but based on the quality and durability on this one, I doubt I'll do that now. This one's a keeper.

I’ve been using a pop-up credit card holder for about 3 years, which still functions well, other than the leather(?) casing for holding banknotes, etc., starting to come loose from the metal card holder section. Looking for something a bit different and the need to hold more than 5 embossed cards plus banknotes, this looked a good choice. It is as described, lightweight and compact, and being the same dimensions as a credit card it couldn't be any smaller. It is a niggle that it is a bit difficult to get cards in or out, more so than I thought (especially after using the pop-up holder), but at least you feel confident that your cards are not going to fall out, even if only one card is inserted. The money clip is sufficiently sturdy enough to hold banknotes very securely too. I like it, and after now using a good few times, it’s becoming easier inserting and removing cards. I love the style and design, it's good value, looks and feels well made, and takes up a minimal amount of space in your pocket.

I've used a leather wallet for more years that I want to tell you and always found it a pain to lug around because it was always full of c"*p; bulky and annoying especially when I used to carry cash, not so much nowadays though.
Not anymore because I've ditched it for this alternative. After looking at most of them on Amazon and elsewhere I decided to try a cheap....ish one and see if I liked it; well I do. The description is spot on, don't know what the more expensive ones give you for the money but this one is very well made, sturdy, looks great, easy to use and holds my cards and driving license securely. I use the clip to carry a few notes, it's really handy and doesn't feel bulky in your pocket or when using the clip.
Noticed some reviews stating it's difficult to access the cards from the wallet but I don't find that to be true. Push the cards out using the cut out, then pinch the edges just below that and the cards pop out a couple of centimetres allowing easy access. If you take them out completely just hold in left or right hand, push your thumbnail and tip of thumb into the recess and it opens up ready to insert all your cards in one go. No negatives whatsoever, go get one!
